Each child (and their children, and their children's children) will each produce more waste, both solid and gaseous than you can prevent by being green in your entire lifetime. I've done the modifications to homes, and it's really not that hard to do - basic stuff, and the energy savings are staggering - 5X less energy, and the homes are more comfortable, and fresh air assured. Auto engine efficiency alone can be doubled quite easily with newer designs, and better streamline shapes can double that again. The 90% is efficiency; the 10% is renewable energy.
