Big as he was you could see the loss of movement in his bout with hulk hogan. And If the owners of wwe had any ideas of dignity,of greatness they would always keep Andre in everything they put out. This man needs a memorial made by the family that is shown everywhere they go.Without Andrea, hulk, hacksaw,Jake the snake, the ultimate warrior, they are nothing and would never have been.Sorry to those I couldn't think of.Please correct me if I did leave out the original superstars out.
theres a few pics with wilt chamberlain and andre on the net, wilt is 7'1'' and andre seems just a little shorter which would make him 6 10 to 7 feet tall...and that was taken on the set of conan the destroyer which was around 1983...to say he was 7 foot 4 is a little far fetched, 7 feet is more believable
Yeah, its obvious that that kitchen with electric lighting, washing machine, sink, fridge and running fucking water has barely changed since about 1400. I'm not sure I've heard a comment as arrogantly ignorant as that in a while.
@mw2000 Agreed. I was born and used to live in France, and can confirm everything you just said: France, its villages included, not having remained in the Middle Ages. The only thing I can think of that the narrator could feasibly have meant - and granted, this is a stretch, I'm just playing Devil's Advocate here - is perhaps the fact that in many if not most French villages, there are some "old stones" (houses, a church, etc) that have literally been around for centuries. But I doubt it.
@mw2000 They were referring to the living quarters and actual structures.. not appliances and all. If you had any common sense you'd know that by now.
@mw2000 It's their way of life, probably, that is being referred to. Sure they've adapted to modern society, they have cars and electricity, but it's the simplicity of living in the country and having farming as your work and chores and being extremely close to your family and your neighbors.
wrestlemania iii was arguably Andre's greatest moment in the business. He passed the torch to Hogan. Bit of an insult to his memory that they got the date of the event so wrong
@drunkensailor112 Billed height 7ft 4in - Real height 7ft - your both right before we have a Troll down. They say he may even have shrunk 1-2 inches after his back surgery.
@TEAmattBAGGER he was 3 inches smaller after surgery's in 1984 or 1985 I think, hogan had same thing. he was still over 7 foot tall though in 1990, as can be seen when he stands next to giant baba who was legit 6 feet 10½ long
unbeaten for 15 years
