Thank you so much for making these videos. I gained about fifteen pounds after breaking a rib in a car accident and then got pregnant before I could lose the weight and now I've gained too much weight and I just hit 5 months pregnant and I'm very concerned about my weight gain. I gained so much and I'm worried about my health and the baby's. I also don't want to make delivery harder than it has to be. Your video is so helpful for eating healthy and I'm going to try it. Thanks again so much!
@Mrshbhb Don't fear.. it ruined the wonderful pregnancy experience. Make the changes and you're whole family with be happier and healthier. You'll be ready and remember it's never too late to start. Enjoy the journey. Healing and happiness to your body and soul.... in Jesus' Name.
@Mscid you need a good juicer to juice veggies. A blender will wear out quick and if you don't like pulp (I do) you'll need to strain it. Hands down, juicer is better for drinking fresh veggies.
i wanted to loose weight until i found out i was expecting but i dont want to double my weight loss so i will start eating much healthier hopefully that will eliminate excess weight.
Your green juice looks like something that Dr. Oz suggested and showed on Oprah. The only issue I have with it is that there is honey in it, which is basically considered unsafe for pregnant women and their fetus. So I would leave that out and add apple or orange juice as the "sweetener". But thanks for the info and tips!
@ms11208 lol! Oh no.... you have to adjust it all to your taste. I'll post a vid if there is time in the future... but experiment and you'll get it right...
thanks for sharing! i'm 20wks pregnant with baby #2 and i'm at 127lbs now...i have been wanting to start eating better with this pregnancy so this helps out a lot! i will prob def use your tips after pregnancy too as i hope to be at 120 again soon after i give birth..but thanks so much, i'll keep you updated! :o)
I did almost all these tips while pregnant and I gained 30lbs, but I lost half of it within the 1st 2 wks and by my 8wk checkup i was at pre-pregnancy weight. baby is 7 months and now I weigh less than pre-pregnancy. Fluids do make a huge difference and they can distort your weight loss progress, especially if you are breastfeeding. i was eating green smoothies all the time -- and have been a raw foodist before I was pregnant.. its like the body was craving greens and such - great video!
great video, you gain 10x more nutrients from eating foods that are raw then eating what most people eat which is "processed foods". the title of your video is a bit misleading but if you watch the whole video then you have a better understanding.
Great video and information thanks. For cheese I really like to use "Cabots" from Vermont. They use a lot of organic ingredients and are sold regularly at Wholefoods and now at Walmart
Your baby is beautiful! Congratulations :-) I tried the green smoothie with spinach, banana, pear, agave nectar and hemp seed protein powder and a drop of soy milk. It was delicious! I'll keep this as a morning staple. Thanks!
If the doctor didn't have any complaints, I don't see what the problem is. I must admit, I was thinking why would one want to lose weight while pregnant. After watching the video, I must say that I wish I was eating that healthy while prego!! lol...more power to you
ezekiel breads are made from sprouts. contains not flour. which is great. i'm not preg but I still may try this out because i would like to lose about 15 lbs.
@dominoe1305 I don't agree. I think if you are eating junk it's not good for the baby or yourself. If you eat healthily you will lose weight naturally, not bad for the baby because the baby will gain in nutrients and you can see her baby is as healthy as anything. He is gorgeous.
I understand that she was trying to be healthy and she just happened to loose weight. That's fine. But there is a such thing as pregorexia and the title of this video sends the wrong message to people like that. The title makes it seem like she was trying to loose weight. It should be something like "How I Got Healthy During Pregnancy"
I don't think the title sends the wrong message at all. She said her Dr. said she was gaining weight too quickly so she changed her diet. Don't really see the point you are trying to make.
well it was her vid and her title choice...the point was not to go over board while pregnant and gain only what was needed for baby. that way she wouldn't have excess weight after baby.
If you weren't one of her subscribers, you would think she was trying to loose weight during her pregnancy for shallow reasons. Also, it would sound like she's suggesting that other people try to loose weight during pregnancy, which is dangerous for most people, but hers is an isolated case. There are pregorexic women who will find this video and use her tips to starve their babies and if I was her, I just wouldn't want to be involved with that. The focus should be on health, not weight.
I like this. You really weren't "dieting" you simply adopted healthy eating habits. You lost weight because you ate fruits, vegetables, and beans and got the bulk of your protein and nutrients from plant foods rather than animal foods. Thanks for sharing!
I have made green drinks before...but I'm always concerned about how long the drink can stay fresh before oxidizing. Do u typically drink it right away? Or is it ok to pack some to take to work?
I think it is wonderful that you feel good about your weight and you son is healthy. God bless you. I would change your title, however, because I think it send the wrong (and potentially dangerous) message. I would just call it "how to eat healthy while pregnant" because losing weight when you are pregnant should not be a goal and there is a potential to go overboard and endanger baby!
Congrats on your new beautiful baby boy! GREAT video! I looove agave nectar. I use it in my kids oatmeal to sweeten it. Like u said it has a lower glycemic index so it's good for diabetics too...and it's inexpensive. Milled flax seed is great too to add to your diet. You displayed some great products. Thanks for sharing
Congrats on your new baby! Where did you get the diet from again? I'd like to try some of it. I'm having the hardest time losing weight and it has a lot to do with food. I have a juicer. I don't like it but I'll do it if I need to. I just don't want to do something and lose weight and then after gain it back.
Thank you for posting this! Some of your video seems cut out. Feel like I've missed some of it.

Oh hello have you tried the Acuspeed 24 Diet (google it)? I am told some unbelivable chatter about it and my grandpa lost crazy amounts of fat on it.
