I got arrested/convicted for not saying my name to a cop and it's on my record for 5 years. It's a disorderly persons charge I was in jail for a week when I was arrested. Anytime I go for a job I have to disclose this before they do a background check. I have two bachelors degree's from a respectable college and this charge has prevented me from getting jobs related to my degrees. Cops have the power to ruin peoples lives just do what they say cause things r not going to change.

A friend of mine got arrested a couple days ago, he got into a fight with another kid and when the cops came to his house he made the stupid decision to assault them, at the police station he was dragged into the bathroom which has no cameras and beaten so bad he had to go to the hospital for a concussion. When you pin a badge and a gun on them most of them get a god complex and begin to believe that they are above the law. I wouldn't play thier game so I quickly become an outcast. I got in for good intentions and out for the same I am proud of my service because I know that I never abused the system or miss treated a single soul. I did the job as it was taught to be serve and protect not abuse and so on!

There's a trend here. My theory is that most of these type of asshole cop were your former highschool football superstars who picked on you and cheated on every test to try and get into college. Their football scholarships were then revoked because they weren't smart enough and couldn't cheat so their grades suffered.
