@MKGespenst It's quite often that you see worker micro early game. Against a zerg trying to expand, players will use their scouting worker to get in the way of the hatchary selection; the zerg gets a building unplacable because of this. Thus, you see little 1v1 worker duels.
ur probably playing in Solo, where is easier to micro.. in Battlenet its 1.5 seconds of 1 second real time delay, = bit more lag.. making it not as easy as it seems
the scv cooldown attack is 15 (same as hydra), a probe or a drone's cooldown is 22 (same as zealot) ... so even if a scv had 40 hp would still own the other workers
Yeah starcraft is far more hardcore than any other rts I've played, knowing these interesting counters, ramp blocks, proxies, and watching pros just makes you below average on bnet. Starcraft players generally want to get better while having fun. I have to play more and stop watching videos though.
