Mary looks so collegiate in her mini skirt and boots, Cindy also looks cool in he groovy pantsuit. Diana, should have worn white boots with that dress.

Salut, vous aimez les sixties ? Ecoutez et podcatez mon émission "le super son des sixties" sur plum fm. Salut et faites gaffe au rock'n roll.
One thing to keep in mind: This was recorded when Francisco Franco was dictator of Spain, and he kept the country on a very, very TIGHT leash. He was so strict that, when Frank Sinatra filmed there in 1956, Sinatra almost caused an international incident when he hung a banner from his hotel room window reading "Franco is a Fink." Anyway, enjoy the performance!
I absolutely love this song and whenever I hear it I think about this performance of them on this Spanish television show. It was nice to see each girl dressed in something different giving them more of their own individuality. They all looked great but it was a little weird to see the dancers off to the side and the guys behind them performing on stage. Oh well, I loved it and the song is the bomb!
I love it. They didn;t often do that "mod" thing, least of all on television, so it's nice to see them not dressed identically for a change. Shame the clips are black and white, but I otherwise can't complain. Brilliant. Thanks for posting!
Gosh Mary looks nice,,,I remember the gals at school with their outfits that looked so similar. Cindy added some personality of her own to the group. Cant knock Diana either. her distinct voice and enunciation of words. You could always understand her words. They were just simply Supreme
Maybe a little under-rehearsed but Diana eventually gets into it, she was always a pro, watch her hands at 1:37. Mary and Cindy's "lookin for a love" choreography is kind of dopey, they look like they're hunting bear, even Mary looks about to giggle. But it's a great record with one of Diana's most underrated vocals--HDH were great at writing songs that kept her sounding slightly out of breath, "You Can;t Hurry Love" was another.
I agree, the entire song was underrated,,,,,, Mary was happy,, Cindy was glad to be there,,,, and Diana was seeking perfection,,,,what more could they give us?
I love this song and yes it is sad that there are lip-synching because we all know that that is Flo all on the backgrounds, Diana and Barry got what they wnated by kicking Ms.Ballard out the group and to me Mary is no friend to Flo she acted like around Flo but she wasnt all know that.
@MeAndLenaZ It's not Diana's fault that's how the program wanted it. Who knows why they're not singing live. History has shown that Ross almost always sings live. The only times she doesn't are when it's in a setting that doesn't permit easy placement of musicians, sound check, etc.
A lot of the Supremes performances on TV were lipsynched after Flo Ballard was removed from the group. Flo actually appears on this recording, so they needed to use lipsynching to make the sound of the song.
SasssyBrattt, Seriously, when you wrote "soooo gay", was that meant as a term of endearment or as a put down? Let's see, this was back in the 60's not just last year. That explains the fashion. I wonder what people will say 40 years from now when they see see our fashions today.

Oh god this soooooo gay! Especially those dancers! I'm absolutely certain that my granny has the same pattern on her curtains that Bossy Rossy is wearing on that ugly ass "get-up" she's parading around in. Love the Peter Pan "get-away" go go boots! LOL! Why is Diana sporting Betty Rubble's hair-do...it looks like she's standing under the space shuttle when it blasts off. The only one that looks half-ass contempary is Florence Ballard's replacement "Miss Birdsong".

These Spanish show DRATS clips are priceless...thank you so much for posting! It's so great to see DMC in performances where they are dressed, made up and acting like the 3 young ladies in their 20s that they were, and not like The Andrew Sisters for once...and I'd never seen them live so far where they all stayed together side-be-side on stage throughout...Diana must've been in some weird, altered good-mood state.. ;)

@scottbaino They did, but only a FEW programmes were filmed in colour there until 1969 or 1970.
