@jovidman69 Exactly my argument in why Elway is a notch better than every other QB in history, Montana was great in his own right, and he had accuracy like no other, but Elway never had a team or a coach nearly as good as Montana did in the 80s. I think it's safe to say that Bill Walsh is the best HC since the 80s and maybe ever, that helps a QB tremendously. Elway comeback king, and still the only QB to ever play in 5 SBs.

Marino never had good great teams around him either and if it werent for the Bills in the early 90s he would have made it to more SBs too.
