maher is right, i was at high school in the 90s, and internet hit big time only in the late 90s.until them it was only for chatting porn and video games.

not much things you could do with a pentium, and the format form was just to filing style...

Studies have shown that people retain less knowledge when reading news on the internet, as opposed to reading newspapers and books, they retain more. So Maher is kind of right on this.

he is really only saying things that are quite true.

the internet is over rated for its "educational" powers.

you tube is proof of us using it just to blow off time, my space, etc...

and wikipedia is proof of the lack of editing and fact checking.
