I think this is Boyle...singing on a VERY bad karaoke backing track recording done in a poor studio...probably somewhere in Central Scotland. It's been donme in nearly one take (she probably couldn't afford more than a few hours recording time!) but she still manages to invest it with something. There is a truth to her. Maybe you need to be older to feel its nuance and scars because it lacks all decoration and pretension, which is the current singing vogue.

She sound a bit different, but you can tell it's Susan -- the same tone, vocalizations, but her voice sounds lower. I'm sure she was younger and the recording conditions seem to have added bass tones. She was amazing even under those conditions. She has such a great heart that it brings depth to her singing that sometimes even the greatest stars don't have. Imagine having this talent and probably thinking she would never be "discovered."
