baileydancer6, I don't believe they have a height limit, but they do seem to have a "look" that they are after... they encourage physically fit dancers. Stay active and work hard on your technique. There are so many opportunities to dance and perform, that you will find the perfect fit for yourself! Don't quit! :)

@dsignchick75 no height limit, but obv they have a look; you have to look good in the uniform. but more than that, you have to have talent, you have to be engaging to watch, quick to pick up the technique, and actually smart, as many of the dcc travel around the world promoting the organization

I'd give anything to be on that team. I'm 14 and already too tall to be a Rockette, which blows. Does anyone know if there is a height requirement for Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders?

@baileydancer6 child please forget rockettes, these TEXAN DRILL TEAM girls know how to work it! you are right at home if you wanna go for the best of the best. but they are not neccesarily looking for "modest" so make sure you are fit(they are real stiklers when it comes to that :P) and you kick butt!!(prefferably your'e eyes) (: good luck!

@baileydancer6 they do not have a height limit mackenzie lee on the 2011-2012 season is 5'2. they dont necessarily have a weight limit either but they do want you to look good in their uniform. no love handles coming out from the shorts. i wanna be a dallas cowboy cheerleader too i am 16 maybe we'll get to be one together :)

@Ceidart They wouldn't starve the cheerleaders. Yeah, they make them watch their weight. But you can't be athletic and not eat.....It wouldn't really work that way. They would pass out or something!

The only way you can make a diamond is with pressure. 5th: They don't starve you. It's called dieting and intense work out. Something you should probably try. they dont go by height you would have just been on the outside of the line....so dont blame your height for probably not being a good dancer,kicker,turner, or what not
