  • Do it come with the heat shield - or was that a separate purchase?

    Thanks!

  • @jmbpastor Heat shield was included.

  • @3njoi1t thx!

  • @3njoi1t hey i want to get one of these for my 97 jetta trek. what did you do with the mass air flow sensor that was on the stock airbox. i think thats my biggest concern. thanks

  • dude im a mk3VR owner and i still have respect for the 2.slows

  • is it a 2.slow?

  • @suprakilzz26 Yup.

  • @3njoi1t not trying to be mean but just a dub term if u kno what i mean. Theres nothing wrong with em tho. I was about to get a 1997 jetta

  • @suprakilzz26 I know. 2.slow is a good term for them... they are super slow.

  • @suprakilzz26 haha yea, i still love VAG tho.

  • I have a Neuspeed Cold Air Intake but the guy at Audio Dreams in Calif fuck up my Mass Flow Air Sensor so i gotta get that crap fix. other than that it does help. I will upload a video this week on my Intake

  • nice, i got that on my 98 golf 2.0l. i don't have that sound when it sucks in the air though:(

  • hey 3njoi it, i did the same set up with my golf and i think you should re-connect the sensor. yes it will work without it, but for accurate air to fuel mix ratio, it is a good idea to have it connected. Try a (2 1/4) cat back exhaust in combination with your intake and you will feel an even bigger difference.

  • @Biology005 where do you place the maf sensor on the system because im pretty sure you may have to run a shorter tube to your upper intake manifold.

  • its a 2.0L its definetly not the beastly 2.8L that i have!!

  • ok so you pulled out the stalk air box which has 2 intakes what did you do with the other intake? and what did you do with the sensor on the intake did you just leave it unpluged? can you send me some details im trying to do a cold air intake on my mk3 jetta your sounds sweet!

  • did u gain some horsepower with ur intake...cuz i need one for my jetta...

  • you always gain horsepower with a cold air intake

  • go onto the internet, Research a True cold air intake THUS you will learn something about cars! Hurray! and yes neuspeed labels everything as a cold air, they could make a filter coming right off the throttle body and call it a cold air...

  • no its a short ram intake with a heat sheild ...ass

  • yeah i got mine in pretty easy no problems

  • why do you have the stock hose still?

  • really thats a short ram intake, if it was a real cold air you would find you air filter being somewhere near the bottom of you bumper...soooo yeah, neuspeed says it a cold air but really its not a true one! boo ya

  • hey i just got the p-flow intake for my 97 jetta how hard was it to install? im gonna put mine in tomorrow. sounds good.

  • ditch that piece..the tranny will go! so will the wheel bearings, wiring harness, ignition switch etc etc etc vws are just headaches also they're slow..get an bmw

  • your welcome dude

  • aww man shes a beaut reminds me of my mk3 jetta same color, same engine.
