  • Way to go, Donatello! :)

  • old school

  • Nothing beats the Pyramid !

  • Thanks so much for this class clip!! Love it:) I never get tired of watching the family celebrate the $25,000 win!

  • Things were scary at the last subject that she could have been toast.

  • If Bob Barker was a guest on that episode, and he got picked up, he would have nightmares about it. It would be worse than the November 10, 1980 TPIR episode with samoan contestant Pauline Anderson and her first win on the "Grand Game".

  • That's wild!!!!

  • Jackson, Marquis

    3-10-1992

    Roosevelt

  • Knitting??? BUZZ!!!!!

  • Now that's what I call a celebration!

  • poor Dick he got mugged

  • Where were the pages in that studio?! They totally dropped the ball on that!

  • Can anybody hear the two crazy guys yelling "Yes! Yes!" in the background before they grab her?

  • In case I have studied at home over the repeats on the USA Cable Network, this show was aired on CBS daytime Wednesday, November 10, 1982.

  • This made the intros for future episodes of Pyramid.

  • at 1:41 you can hear barry kinda yelp "oh my god!"

  • @mrbill1978 LOL!! I know, that was hilarious!!

  • Wasn't this win from 1983?

  • I think the "pirate" clue should have got zapped. A pirate is not hooked, he has a hook. A "hunted fish" maybe would have been a good one.

  • @j26fremont It depends on the context of the clue. Martin Mull said "A Peter Pan captain" for the same category and got zapped. A pirate or a pirate's hand would have been fine

  • Dick Clark nearly got kicked.

  • Woah! That guy had her skirt up, but luckily he didn't pull it all up.

  • iMAGINE IF THIS WAS A $100,000 win?

  • @nextbarker Barry: "HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

And the mayhem would be crazier than ever.

  • I wonder if Barry Gordon (who later went on to voice Donatello and Bebop in the original Ninja Turtles) remember this.

  • yeah it is him.

  • @RingtailStudios Barry Gordon also did the Voice of Razor on SwatKats.

  • Who could forget the Pyramid Riot of 1982?! :-D

Plus, check out 1:47... Can you say tig 'ol bitties? LOL!!

  • A lady dropped her glasses thanks to the wild crowd in 1:38, and Dick Clark says "wait, wait, wait!" and he almost got attacked by the crowd! As if that weren't enough, he nearly gets kicked in the face! Now that's a show we won't soon forget!

  • @SJKopp Actually, that was Barry Gordon climbing over the railing of the Winner's Circle to escape the mayhem lol!!

  • I'm SO glad to see this clip in its entirety! This is totally, ridiculously awesome! Pyramid's the best!

BTW, for the top box, I wonder if "drug addict" would be considered a valid clue? Just a thought....

  • sure. I'd say it's a great clue.

  • I, too am glad to see this clip in its entirety. Now, in regards to your thought about the top subject, "Things That are Hooked", "a drug addict" would not be a valid clue, because "addict" would be synonomous with "hooked". "Drug users" would be better, because that would not be an illegal clue. Hope this info helps! ;)
