What really scared me about this movie is that the vast majority of the population is so accustomed to processed humans for food is that they probably wouldn't even care realizing they are now cannibals cause they'd be too hungry to wonder what to do about it after the panic and riots subsided when the truth became known. Of course now that the truth is known they'd be wondering whom was to be breed for food knowing the rich would not be on the recipe... at least not yet!
We have people who take drugs like pot, cocaine, heroin and other hard drugs. Add in the number of pharmaceuticals and manufactured foods we eat, and harvesting the body for Soylent Green would be a time consuming process to eliminate these sorta contaminants from the system.
