I love this video. Thank you so much for sharing it. I started crying when you described the first time you met Christina Pearson. I am almost 18 and have had trich since I was 9. I have yet to meet someone like me, and I think that's one of the worst parts about the disorder, but I am coming to the TLC retreat in September (since it's close to my house), and I can't wait :)
Thank you, I have had trich all of my life. Since I was about 2. I don't know anyone with it personally. I have shaved my head because I wanted to stop... that was in 9th grade... I have been made fun of, people in school are cruel. They called me baldy and would mock me all of the time. There was one time in high school, a girl that sat next to me actually asked me to pull my hair out. I don't pull my facial hair, I knot it up and pull out 'chunks'. So, thank you for sharing!
Its good to see more people spreading awareness. Ive had trich for 12 years. You can get through it though..I uploaded a couple videos of my own experience, if youre interested.
Hi Nichol. I would love to view your videos. I'm not sure how but I will check into it. :) Glad you got to "meet me" through mine. I hope to meet you through yours. :)
I've had this problem for a long time... it's tough. Stress is a big factor, especially when I pull them out it feels so good afterwards. A bit like drug or food addiction. I used to have beautiful eyelashes... now they're still pretty but I'm scared to lose all of them. Still trying to stop, keep it up fell trichos! :)
most of his eyelashes and eyebrows.I hate everything about this OCD.First time I found out about Trichotillmania was on Sally Jessy Raphael show, thanks to a brave lady like you,so I would like to thank you and wish you all the best about spreading the word about this.
With me it started with nail biting since I was a little kid,one day in grade8 I pulled my hair out and put it between my teeth and pulled on the hair making it twist into little circles,I would continue doing this and biting the hair into small pieces,I feel like parents should know about this so if their child is biting their nails...they should monitor the child closer about pulling the hair and of course try to make them stop biting the nails altogether.I'm a male 26 years old whose missing-

My pleasure! I'm so glad you know that you are not alone. And I'm glad my makeup tips helped you. The Gel Liner is awesome. Have you tried it?
Let me know if you have any questions about it.
Take care,
