The emotional, sexual, and psychological stereotyping of males begin when the doctor says, "It's a boy."
I began wearing a tie as a young lawyer because it helped me to establish my professional identity. Before that, whenever I was at a meeting, someone would ask me to get coffee.
Any man who chooses to behave like a full human being should be warned tgat the armies of the status quo will treat him as something of a dirty joke... He will need his brotherhood.
Sanya is exactly right. There won't be real equality or tolerance until my generation, the baby boomers, has passed on. For every one of us who fought for women's rights there were hundreds who fought to keep the status quo. I still hear people glorifying the 50's when women had to be married and have their husband's permission to obtain birth control. And that's just one example. I could write a book.
I noticed something hopeful in this video. Almost all of these quotes about sexism from women and sexist quotes from men are from older people. I see old men who haven't caught up with the future and women talking about a completely different time period. I only saw one person from my generation. I think that this means we're becoming a lot less sexist as a culture. Sexism isn't dead yet but it seems that it's not doing too well either.
When they were bashing Hillary Clinton, I couldn't help but think of that SNL sketch where they call her a "boner shrinker." They were a comedy show...this is real people essentially saying the same thing...

Etc.
Are those points as valid?

Fast-forward 10 years, and you won't be able to tell the difference between television news and Jerry Springer. Good Video.
