Hmm... maybe there're differences between European and American dolls... the Courtney I gave to my friend really had brown hait. :) She was a cheerleader. I had the blonde Skipper of it.

Courtney was Skipper´s friend. She had a Skipper-body, but brown hair. A very beautiful "Skipper" named Courtney. I have given a Courtney-doll to my friend on her birthday. That´s years ago, but I was so happy when she liked her. A brown haired "Skipper" was rare.

And What do you think of Maxie's world cartoon? do you think it's just another rip off of Barbie? I always thought her name was Maxine or something and that she was Barbie's sister or I think Skipper is Barbie's sister isn't she? And 1 of Barbie's friends I remember is named: Courtney. So are Barbie and Ken back together? or not? lol! xD

Barbie Dolls old band from the 80s. There was a tv show about those dolls back then too.

I bought an old vhs 1 time of this where they went to the moon and it was fun listening to the 80's sounds and the 80's version of the 60's Beatle's song Dance with you... The fashion was fun to see and just everything about it was fun I think Barbie was just trying to be the next Jem!.. lol! xD Barbie is everything from a model, a rock star, a teacher, a vet you name it... she does it all I think Barbie shows that girls can grow to be whatever they want to be.

Theoretically, there were a LOT of Barbie "bands" if we're going to count dolls like Dance Moves Barbie. I have all of the Barbie and the Beat dolls and fashions (I think that was 1988-89?). Beyond Pink was great... still, you've got to admit it was a huge rip-off of Jem. Jam n' Glam barbie had hair you could switch, and that also seemed a bit Jem-like to me.
