  • Where ever you, when ever you are, The Doctor will always be there.

  • This sums up my entire life. Always.

  • This is so epic especially when he died

  • this gives me goosebumps every time time!

  • this should play whenever i walk in a room.

  • this is so going on my MP3...

  • According to the dvd commentary, this is the music they play when things "start to get all Time Lord-y." Must agree. </3 Makes me want to cry every time, So sad, so beautiful!

  • Certain parts of this are the same tune as Nine's theme, but instead of that single, soft voice, it's so many at once, so strong... makes sense, since Nine was alone, but Ten had so many friends and companions-- Rose, Martha, Donna, Jack, Mickey, Wilf, Jackie, Sarah Jane... just for the last couple of episodes of Season 4, it seemed like, for once, he wasn't alone-- of course, though, that had to end. Though I must say, Eleven doesn't seem too bothered ;P

  • (; the music.....its amazing

  • The music in Doctor Who is just amazing.

  • is there piano sheet music for this?

  • This was posted on my birthday :)

  • @WhovianTimeyWimey

even though i dont know you,

    happy birthday.

    :D

  • David tennant beat the devil. Nuff said.

  • @wo0obly I think its fair to say the Doctor as a whole beat the devil

  • "You and me, one last run!"

  • This one sums up why i prefer the 10th doctor over the 11th- This one symbolises that he is old, tired, a warrior and a hero. But the 11th seems to drop that in favour of just amy and rory- the sense of history with the 9th and 10th made the doctor just that little bit better, and it seems lost with 11.

  • @acfurryface totally. I love 11th but 10th was the best. He was young and old, crazy and wise, stupid and smart, enjoying life but still suffering inside of him, with his companions but so alone. He was a whole paradox. He was just the perfect Doctor.

  • @Holifeno Perfect description for a perfect Doctor.

  • I think that 3 people's mouse slipped a little :)

  • 1:01-1:11 THE best part

  • amazingg

  • the 4th is my doctor but 10 comes in at a very close 2nd place

  • stop making me cry... *weep* have all my tears Doctor!

  • Made an account just to comment :)

  • 0:41 goosebumps and tears every time

  • Someone put it perfectly to me about the 9th, 10th, and 11th doctors (which i love almost equally). Eccelston portrayed a harsher doctor because it was RIGHT after the time war. Tennant slowly was growing out of that, but losing Rose (who was seemingly his first companion after the war) was like losing his family all over again, there in lies his emotionalness, and then Matt Smith is just more jovial and crazy because he was finally moving on as much as you can really. Anywho, I love them all!

  • @saragrace407 And, to be fair, all of him have different personalities. The 9th doctor was influenced by the Time War just happening, but he was also naturally more prone to confrontation.

The 10th was more of a diplomat, he could keep his cool much better, but if you did manage to piss him off (which was an incredible feat), he would... well... let's just say it wouldn't end especially well for you. He loved to show off and be the hero, too.

The 11th doctor has bad fashion sense.

  • @kireclebnul HEY bow ties are cool

  • @kireclebnul Oi! Bowties, are cool!

  • @kireclebnul Hey, bowties are cool.

  • @rillera25 no bowties are'nt cool

doctor's bowtie is cool that all...

  • @saragrace407

    That really is put perfectly!

  • Jack is always there for him...

  • The show goes on, and another man walks the screen, playing Time Lord; but somewhere out there, David Tennant is flying the universe in the TARDIS, and the true Doctor keeps us all safe. We believe, Doctor!

  • When you run with the Doctor, it feels like it'll never end. But however hard you try you can't run forever. Everybody knows that everybody dies and nobody knows it like the Doctor. But I do think that all the skies of all the worlds might just turn dark if he ever, for one moment, accepts it.

  • @eastwing329 Everybody knows that everybody dies, but not everyday. not today. Somedays are special, some days are so, so blessed. Somedays nobody dies at all. Now and then, Every once in a very long while, everyday in a million days, when the wind stands fair and the doctor comes to call, EVERYBODY LIVES.

    :')

Soryy i just had to finish what you started

  • @eastwing329 i was shoked to see yesterday Eccelston in a film. i immeaditly recornized the voice. it was epic, but strange cos he was playing such a different part i LOVE ALL episodes of doctor who because there all so different

  • @TheIrritatingPenguin what film?

  • @StickyCharmander it was called "The Borrowers" iT was ok. not as good as doctor who but, yeah it eas ok.

  • @TheIrritatingPenguin iT=it eas= was

  • I love 10 and 11, but personally, Tennant sort of stood out more for me. The 10th was much more dark, and serious, and had emotional attachments stronger than the 11th. 11 is much crazier, and dramatic, and spontaneous. During the Tennant era, things happened in the Doctor's life that was pretty devastating. First, Rose got transported into the alternate universe. Second, the only other time lord in existence was killed, twice! Third, a woman he just met, but knew so much about him and trusted

  • no really, HONESTLY. This is like the most epic theme for a Doctor. I love ten so much..

  • To me he was the best doctor so far but i love matt smith he is pretty sick.

  • Ilove David Tennant. Theres just no deny him and those red converse(:

  • I love both the 10th Doctor and the 11th Doctor, they're both great in their own ways.

  • @ronvins THANK You.

  • I must admit, i love Matt Smith's Doctor more...

  • Best. Doctor. Ever. Period.

  • david was perfect <3

  • 0:58 onwards= Goosebumps EVERYwhere.

  • 'ello! sooner or later my friends and I will make parodies of doctor who and I am playing the 10th doctor.

  • @onlygirlintheworld64 I like them both equally but 10th was amazing!

  • Ten never died alone, we were all there for him. And will forever keep him in our minds and hearts.

Even when there is another perfect Doctor running out there, he will never be forgotten.

  • 0:39... oh my god chills!!!!

  • I'm in a glass of emotions right now. I love this amazing theme, I love all the characters in this pic, and not in this pic (like river, team 11 and 9 who is never mentioned here), I'm really sad at the same time for sweet Liz Sladen. And Donna... :'( They're all the best.

  • Comment removed

  • there is another doctors theme for series 4 I think it's not released. The one that plays when River tells the doctor his name. If anyone knows it please tell me

  • I liked many aspects of the Tenth's story. All the characthers, musics, tales... I actually got sad when he died. He said so many things that changed my way of thinking. But there is one of them that I still repeat everytime I have problems.

    ALLONS Y!

  • This is the most emotional piece of music I've heard in my entire life.

    R.I.P Ten.

  • this song... i love it so much :)

  • @ actor109 he chose to leave the show

  • that was the most epic glass of juice ive evr had!!

  • My cat sat on my knee and washed herself to this. It was the most epic thing I have seen all week. :|

  • @monkeys888 hahahahh

  • @monkeys888 i made a ham sandwitch to this. try it, it is more EPIC then standing in a leaf tornado

  • why did Tennant have to go?????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @actor109 ikr!

  • i cried when david left :/ i waz like 10 now i cry wenever i hear this music! i loved david so much! <3

  • @TheCoolio147 I hope Matt Smith has held your hand to guide you to the new Doctor. David was awesome, WELL, he was quite good I guess....for a human.

hmmm...hard to do impressions in text

I was sorry too when David left, but from what I have seen from the 11th Dr. It's not over yet.

And to quote MY Favourite Doctor, Mr C.Eccleston. It's looking FANTASTIC!!

  • Ihis music makes me cry every time cause they played it as Tennant's regeneration music. Oh, god I love him. I'm not saying anything bad about Smith, who is brilliant, but Tennant will always and forever be my Doctor.

  • @drwhogrl88 definately! i loved him! <3

  • This is probably the best season.

@ThelzzyAsuka +1, I am really sorry our doctor is gone! :(

  • @Bence24Videos Im sorry. Im so sorry!

    \

  • I cry when I hear this because it was played in Silence in the Library just before River dies.

  • I actually teared up listening to this.

I had forgotten how much I miss David Tennant as the Doctor.

    He was my Doctor.

  • The theme shows how deep and caring the 10th Doctor had been. Not as superficial as the 11th. Matt Smith is funny but David Tennant was brilliant. Grand. He had such deep feelings and fears. I really miss him. In contrast to the11th he knew when to be boisterous, when to be daunting, when to be sad and when to be joyful. He was mad in a more subtile way. Matt makes you laugh (recently he makes me annoyed^^) David gives you goosebumps! That's the difference!

  • @0xxxXbellaXxxx0 I was reluctant to like Matt Smith after David Tennant left, but I think he has done an okay job of taking his place. I would say that the thing that has truly helped Smith's performance is the fact that Steven Moffat is now the head writer. If you look back to Tennant's three seasons, some of the most ingenious episodes were written by Steven Moffat. Moffat has said that he really likes writing for Smith, but I wish that he could have written more for Tennant.

  • @ObiWan35813 I agree. Moffat is legit cool. BUT...Matt Smith is an amazing doctor!

  • This gives me goosebumps EVERY SINGLE time!

  • I listen to this whenever I need a little bit of inspiration for a more emotional scene in a story... :P

  • RIP on the left

  • Is it just me or is there a section of the music in both the 11th and 10th Doctors theme that is the same?

  • @GeorginaWOAH all of the theme songs somewhat similiar.

  • Epicness itself.

  • I absolutely love the 11th Doctor's theme, but this one is... something else. This song always makes me think of a Time Lord. An old, wise, and powerful being that can be so merciful, but at the same time, so terrifying.

The 11th's theme is powerful, too, but in a loud and fast kind of way. This song is just pure Time Lord. There is just no other way to describe this song, but "Time Lord."

  • @MsFreshNinja Well said... No... Brilliant.

  • @MsFreshNinja Couldn't of put it better my self......This Theme is Murray Gold at his best! i think! murray might of been a little tipsy while doing the eleventh doctors theme, it is an amazing theme, but, all the sadness and stuff is gone! :)

  • This is the kind of music that gives you goose bumps (me).

and makes you want to cry (also me).

  • I love David Tennant and Matt Smith equally and they're both funny and versatile in their own way.

  • allons-y :D

  • @philyburkhill1 ikr!!!! :)

  • @rabiahandmakeup so had nothing to do with the world cup then?.....ok just making sure :)

  • @thedoctor324 wat?

  • moffatt could bring back jack, mickey and martha. its just a shame he can't bring back sarah jane, RIP Elizabeth Sladen

  • @TSEpictures Moffat actually is thinking about bringing Jack back, after all, he DID create Jack

  • Im watching Doctor Who last night and all I can think is "Captain Jack could come along any minute and KICK SOME ASS!"

But no, it may never happen and I am saddened.

  • It makes me feel so . . . so . . . Sad . . .

  • This makes me want to cry, just thinking of his first regeneration, and then thinking of "The End Of Time" I cried from the part of the radiation scene to the regeneration scene! David's Doctor had that ability to make you laugh one minute and then cry. David was just Brilliant, Smith is doing a good job though, he is brilliant in his own way, each man who ever played the Doctor was.

  • It took me 8 months to get over the departure of DT and the 10th doctor! Thnx for 5 amazing years DT! I ♥ this theme soooooooooooooooooooo much and since 2005 I love DW sooooooooooooooooooooooooo much! The writing, directing, acting and stories are EPIC! I have the deepest RESPECT for this show AND I am proud to say that I was a part of the millions of fans who got into Doctor Who in 2005!

    R.I.P ELISABETH SLADEN!

    RESPECT!

    ANY 1 EFFING AGREE?

  • 10 great doctors and for number 11 we get matt smith just kill his doctor and move on to 12th please

  • @SIRDOCTOROFTARDIS1 shhhh no one is listening they are too impresed with how great Matt smith can act ;)

  • RIP

    Elisabeth Sladen

your song has ended but the story lives on

  • @halyfantitanic Yes, Elizabeth Sladen was amazing. It's sad she's gone, but she was a companion of the 4th Doctor, Tom Baker I believe.

  • ten is the best doctor but 11 got the best music

  • Eccleston was great, Tennant was amazing and Smith is brilliant. I love them all! :D

  • @Aliouxie12

Finally someone who doesn't hate one of them!!! DX I adore them all, too, so I think it's great to find someone who doesn't hate one or another. :'D

  • @AtakiriMizuyuki you're not alone! i mean, i can't deny tennant is my favorite, but i love every doctor i've seen!

  • All songs have an end but the story goes on forever. 10th song has finished and 11th is born. Allons-y!

  • Tennant and Smith are my favourites actors! i love doctor who and i was a little confused when Tennant quit. Mut I'm glad that Smith took his role, he's really brilliant.

  • ..Aww..David Tennant..I miss him :') And season 4, and the old Doctor Who.. <3 <3 But, you have to love season 5 even though its a completely different turn from the others..

  • @BilliePiperLuv I love your utube name :) she's my fave doctor who companion. Though I have to say I really liked Donna. But nobody can raise the bar above Rose

  • sad and epic.... that's just...fantastic!

  • Guhhh this song will forever remind me of Ten dying. Sadness.

  • great song, shame about series four, though

  • is this played at the end of forest of the dead or am i confusing it with another theme?

  • @jhibbitt1 I think so, if not they are very simular

  • @jhibbitt1 Yes

  • this is the ninth doctor's theme too, isn't it?

  • @ymatheys No Nine's theme is similar to the first part but much quieter.

  • @PraiseDivineMercy i couldn't find it anywhere, so i just assumed it was the first one

  • @ymatheys Indeed. These two are the best, I mean 9th and 10th. Tennant though will always be my doctor. Vale decem.

  • MISS SARAH JANE SMITH. YOU ARE AMAZING. :)

I love this piece. It's great. I'm still sad he's gone, but Matt Smith is doing well with the shoddy writing that's put in front of him.

  • @TheDunHorse Steven Moffat is a far better writer than Russle T Davis the episode BLINK just proves it

  • @GnarlyOz

While I agree with you that Moffat is a far better writer, Davies still had some great episodes in his time, like The Parting of the Ways, Doomsday and Midnight. Those I would consider his best episodes by far, even rivaling Moffat in quality.

  • @GnarlyOz Moffat isn't better just different. Its like trying to compare David Tennant and Matt Smith. They are both good in different ways. You can't say Moffat is better just because of that 1 episode, no matter how good it was. You need to give more examples.

Moffat is good at the 'scary' episodes such as Blink or the Library and writes well for the Doctor's character. Davies is good at the 'emotional' episodes such as Doomsday or Midnight. Davies is also better at writing the companions.

  • This pic is my desktop background

  • I love all the Dr.s BUT that gang in the picture will never be equaled. Hope i'm wrong but all the characters had their strengths and contributed a lot to Dr. Who!

  • Loool Come On Guys Cheer Up Yeah Tennants Regeneration Was Sad But Come On Cheer Up ... Jelly Baby? ;DD

  • Comment removed

  • tennant 4ever matt smith get lost

  • the first time i saw this, i cried so hard, after remembering Tennant's regenneration. everytime after, i still get all emotional, because Tennant will always be my Doctor. Smith is amazing, but Tennant is always and forever my favorite.

  • If you wanted to do a medley theme that transitioned into the 11th Doctor theme, the best time to transition would be around 2:17. This theme is epic, but it would be nice if it ended in the upbeat, jazzy theme of the 11th Doctor.

  • I always imagined this theme to be from an old Gallifreyan lullaby.

  • I'd like to take a vote: what retard actually likes matt smith MORE than Tennant or Eccleston? Smith is the SOLE reason i stopped watching doctor who.

  • @Enzar17 It's not even Matt Smith, him I can deal with. It's Amy Pond! With that awful actors pout and overuse of the word 'Doctor'. Tennant and Eccleston are legends compared to these cowboys. (lolTennantreference)

  • @RDBrilliance yeah, true. i think if Donna Noble was still in it, i'd still be watching. but you cant deny that Amy is really pretty. at least she's got that.

  • @Enzar17 and they're both ginger

  • @Enzar17 Smith is brilliant.

The reasons I'd consider stopping watching have more to do with the audience they're trying far too hard to impress with the latest aesthetic redesign. Between the logo and the Daleks' new look... ugh.

  • I like this doctor's dress sense: Suit and plimsolls FTW!

  • david tennant-my doctor <3 matt is alright but david will always be my fave and the sexxiest of them all i miss david but lets all fce it hes gone and matt is a brilliant actor and he has the best compainions after rose, amy and rory are amazing but rose i grew up with rose, rose was my fave assiant because she was the first assistant i saw, i kno chris was brill and he was the 1st doctor i saw but david tennat is amazing, lets face it, chris, dave and matt are all brilliant actors.

  • An amazing picture to boot. I like Matt but guys I miss all of you!

  • @MegaUnoriginal

    Dude? What's wrong with Smith?

    Tennant fanboy?

I love all the Doctors. Probably the ninth the most.

  • @ss3man1

He basiacally says what was too silly for tennant, they should have had a more serious doctor after him, but I don't hate smith, I always change my mind about him

Yes I'm an Eccleston, Tennant, and Rose fanboy

And Eccleston should have stayed longer

  • @MegaUnoriginal wow, you just stole those words right off my keyboard! I'm an Eccleston, Tennant and Rose fangirl and proud, haha :0 And you're so right, Eccleston should definitely stayed longer :/

  • @DoctorAndRose4ever

thank you, and the one episode i wish it was Eccleston instead of Tennant was The Satan Pit, that would have been a good time for his shit eating grin and a smart ass hello

  • @MegaUnoriginal STFU ASSFUCKER!!!!

  • The 10th doctor was the best Doctor throughout all series, and especially, the season's finales' were the best episodes with their epicness

  • the cyberking and davros dont like this song

  • I adore this theme. But when can we hear this exact version ? I can't remember.

  • @NicoAngelus When he comes back at the end of the year that never was.

  • @PraiseDivineMercy Hum, actually I've just watched "The Stolen Earth" again and I heard this exact theme. I don't think you hear this version in season 3.

  • @NicoAngelus Ah, knew it was one of the season finales.

  • Tennant and his theme all tell an extraordinary story, everything about his run was on an epic scale, and he makes the most memorable. Everything about him showed so many raw emotions.

  • The 9th doctor's theme is nearly the same as this but it wasn't as good as this.

  • one person was a dalek

  • didnt thay use this theme when the dr regnerated into the 11th dr

  • @picard28 no thats a different song if u wanna know what song its vale decem

  • I love this too.

  • Goose.Bumps.

This is what this song did to me.

    Doctor Who Forever.

  • Looks like one person thinks he's the master.

  • the new doctor's theme is better

  • @jhibbitt1 I find them very difficult to compare, as they are so different. Actually, the Doctors themselves are so different. This theme is filled with sorrow and triumph, while the eleventh Doctor's theme is more light hearted, like said Doctor. I don't know which I like better, but I loved David Tennant's Doctor, so I HAVE to say this one. It's got more plays on my iTunes.
