Halloween Makeup: Extreme Retro Look

hi! i'm volunteering at a haunted house this year and i absolutely love this look. Is there another way to do this? I am helping with makeup and i need to be able to replicate this look (or something similar) every weekend, and i need a more permanent makeup for the look. I don't have a lot of money to buy a lot of make up and supplies for it, so is there something else i could do?

another way to do the lace look would be using a pair of fishnet tights or lace tights... stretch them over your head... they stay in place better : ) love watching your videos!!!

hey what about tanner skinned people ? using black will turn greyish or not be visible on their skin.

what color should they use for the mask?

A white mask would look cool, definetly on darker skin where it would be more visible.

Dark colors like black will show up regardless of your skin color, it doesn't turn gray.

Generally only paler, lighter colors do not show up on dark skin tones.

what kind of a base do i need? i have pretty oiily skin and im starting to think that the eyeshadow is not going to stay on that well.

Beautifull, we don't celebrate Halloween in the Netherlands but we have Carnaval. And I have some dress from the maskerade and normally I put a mask on and do the red hot lips but this is a great alternative. I will definitly try this beautifull drama look. I love this style. Might I suggest cleaning up the edges of the faux lace and adding some shading to give it more of a 3D look, a bit more like real lace?

Personally, I love latex, so I would have attached real lace directly to the face, using latex around the eyes and along the hair line, leaving the bottom edge to hang freely.
