  • Amazing. Love to have this guy as my teacher.

  • that guy must have rocked hard, as they say, in his youth. The piano... it has a strange sound, very salon-like. Interesting... it has something of a harpsichord too, hasn't it?

  • @minasgekos he's a piano teacher. There are different teachers, a kind that teaches in kenelley keys or places like that, and teachers that are real professionals.

  • Who is this guy? He's pretty damn good, sounds like a concert pianist.

  • What piece does he play at 4:07?

  • @erdavis7 Nevermind, I fount it;

    Chopin

    Étude Op. 10, No. 3

  • This fine piano has been well cared for over time. I have very little doubt but what it has been tuned not long before his fine playing. Any piano just sitting for years would have gone very flat from strings stretching and tuning pins slowly turning in the pin block. I would try very hard to leave it as much "as is" as possible and only do very necessary work on it.

  • NICE! What was he playing at about 2:30-3:00?

  • he played the chopin op. 66

  • @JonathanDPal

    This the Fantasie-Impromptu Op. 66 by Chopin

  • my last name is chickering!!!

  • @geel31 This made me lol : )

  • Old Liszt had a Chickering and he LOVED it better than all the rest.

  • I agree! 1 x 0 to you.

  • what a fine young man

  • I'm sure this one is beyond my means but, I am looking for an older 7'+ piano. I've never heard of Edward Parker but, he is a wonderful musician.
