@RoseResserection I know it's the same actor. I meant that I love some of the cute things the character does in NYTW. :) Like at the beginning of this song.
As much as I absolutely adore Jesse and Wilson, I must admit, I very highly like these two. I feel that, although Jesse and Wilson made the character their own, these two actors portrayed what Larson wanted portrayed. Angel was meant to be the soft and bubbly person of the entire group, while Collins was a struggling teacher that really needed someone like him in his life. Jesse was a wonderful Collins, and I will always picture him as Collins, but I feel the actor here captured the desperate.
mark is just to adorable xx so funny, wish those lines were in the actual play but i guess they probs just wanted to keep it bout angel and collins and thought that the mark lines might distract xx hmmmmm...
lol... I love Mark in the workshop version... I love him in the Broadway version too, but they took out alot of good stuff, such as the "Is she with anyone?" "you said not to look!
Love this song! I don't like the guy doing Collins, but Angel's pretty good.
The opening dialogue here is so funny. IMO they shouldn't have cut it so much. Mark Setlock is great as Angel too. I have heard him with Jesse L Martin when he u/s Wilson and they sound great together.
ahaha omfg. did the guy playing collins end up playing the man or something? they sound so alike! i like how they made the whole thing with mark part of the song though.
i second that, TomColinsgirl, thank god for jesse and i add wilson as well. Did this angel get kicked in the balls at the end, cause I dont even think Angel should be able to hit that note.
I'm so playing Angel!

:) Mark makes me smile. I do wish they kept some of his lines in.
The guy who played Collins reminded me of the drugseller in the original cast.
I love this song and love knowing not much was changed when it was in the working stages.

That's Anthony Rapp. He was the Mark for the NYTW, Broadway, London, and Movie versions. As in...all of them.

I know he's a different actor than Jesse, but the Collins here sounds like he's playing a completely different character!
