93' - 1.6 16v 90hp

95' - 1.8 16v(Ghia) 115 hp

97 - 2.0 16v 137 hp

Late years but very nice working engines and not so big fuel consumption

@noahah93 Yep' my friend, added to collection 99' TD 1.8 90hp (around 135 km/h @ 3000rpm's), they are in good condition, all of them. And this from 95' has nice set of gear....well that is for year 95' after all. Anyway I drove many cars from later years

(BMW 524td 91'[M gear] - 115 hp, Volkswagen Golf 3 [1.8] - 75hp, Ford Escort 1.8 16v [EFI, Ghia gear] - 105 hp , Audi 100 2.0 5 cylinder -115hp...etc..)

And I must say that I enjoyed Ford's the most...till now that is.

I drive a 2.0 TDCi Mondeo 143hp Titanium X and I must say everyone who sat into it was impressed..there is a thing I don't like about the 2.0 diesel: it does not feel as torqy as a diesel shoul feel..however, the speed is increasing rapidly if you watch the speedometer..

We have a Ford Mondeo is really great! We have titanium X version so there have to be heated windscreen, Dual air conditioning, parking sensors, etc.

I really do like this car. Our family used to drive only VW's and Audi's, but now we got the new Mondeo, which honestly don't have any thing less than a VW Passat or an A4. Mondeo has all the Technology u need + u can get with a better price comparing to VW's family. 5Star on the EuroNCAP. I agree the A4 has more prestige and has some advantages on few materials on their machine. If u get A4/ Mondeo Diesel they'll come with the exact same power from the 2.0TDI/TDCI with 105KW = 143HP.

I had one of these and it was very poorly made. Lots of squeeks, rattles and leaks. All the doors dropped when you opened them and it leaked. The back was always wet.

My sister has had 2 Focus' and they both leaked and had various problems as well. She now has a new shape Fiesta and that leaks too, the front carpets are wet,

They're good cars, if only Ford could make them properly.

I have the new Focus and my father in law has the new Mondeo and we've had no problems with either of them. Just great handling, good performance and reliability. First Ford I've owned and may not be the last.

Having the front look like an Aston isn't a bad thing. Seeing that Aston Martin is owned by Jaguar and Jaguar was owned by Ford. It's better looking than the boxy Fords we have here in America.

Ford needs to work on their interiors first, then learn how to finish off the outside of a car with a decent looking body kit. Car looked great in Casino Royale but in real life looks like another cheap Focus that no one wants to drive. Oh and if you haven't seen Casino Royale ...rent it, it's a great 007 flick!

Ford always started off new design of its own and took long time for its prototype to launch. B4 it's launched, its rivals had copied its design, launched their copies n gave the public an impression that they did it first instead of Ford. That's y Ford always lose n never appreciated. Look @ the Ford Taurus '85. It's the 1st of its kind modern design adopted by Germans & Japanese later whole world. Mercedes & BMW got the name for that design

I have had 3 mondeos, a 99 LX wagon, 2002 Wagon and a 2005 wagon (estate) all 2 litre petrol. Not one of them ever let me down. I have a 2.3 litre Mazda 6 wagon (5 spd auto) and it's nice,BUT the back seat ride is too harsh,the door mirrors are not heated, the bonnet does not have gas struts,the window switches are no lit at night.The front seats are smaller than mondeo (shoulders) Handles very well, does not feel as strong as the Ford,slightly tinny would sum it up. Mondeo next time.

We have a facelifted Mazda 6 (replaced a pre-facelift Mazda 6) as a company car and I think it's a very very good car in every aspect. The ride is also better than before. It also has leather upholstery and it's comfy. And the diesel is more powerful and less noisier than before. And of course, no relaibility issues.

Unfortunatley the new Mondeo does not have gas struts on the bonnet but the previous model does ( At least mine does ST TDCI)

Looks good especially in dark colour. The Ghia interior with the wood looks nasty in my opinion, Titanium X is better by far. And they should have improved the engine range (diesel doesn't sound too refined) but later I think it will get the 2.2 PSA bi-turbo which will be the pick of the range.
