I never regretted getting a white Macbook. I never sold it or anything either. Right now I do have the unibody white MacBook, late 2009 model. I plan on possibly buying one of the older models on Gainsaver though.

@lamok1989 Yes the original code was not working due to a fault with the boot up system. It then changed to that code to root out and show the problems which were later on fixed.

i had a macbook that does a different boot up like that!!!!! it's not a problem with the machine it's just defective- it just boots like that. No harm done to the machine, no reinstall, no nuthin. It just boots that way. My mac mini does the same thing because i cloned the hard drives but....

All of these machines are based around the same system. The macbook and macbook pro 13" are the same thing with a different shell. The mac mini has the same hardware but it doesnt have the brilliant LED backlit display as the macbook and macbook pro. The macbook pro 15" + 17" have a Nvidia gforce Gt card as well as the Nvidia 9400 (macbook and macbook pro 13") so they are better.

yes it comes with a small program similar to notepad, its rubbish compared to word. You have to buy either office 2008 or iwork 09 (better). You can get iwork 09 for free from some of the youtube videos here.

The reason the white macbook started like that is the reason any computer starts like that. It's because the computer either crashed, has a virus, or something is wrong with it's hard drive.
