@KJBPSkipper: It is great to see someone else who see the potential in these cars. The performance in the quarter you got is quite impressive but not suprising. These cars make great sleepers, decent looking, and have room for adults in the front and back. I went the hard way in modifying the Hyundai. Owning 3 classic chevys I didn't have a clue on researching the Tiburon for ideas. I could have saved some money.

@eastender74: I just finished the engine. I had custom headers made and I cammed it instead of going with forced induction. It dyno'd at 301 hp to the front wheels. It is pretty fast but the idle is almost stock sounding. Time for me to work on suspension and breaks. Made a vid of the results from a read light. It's quite impressive.

I have a 2007 Sonata GLS with the 3.3L V6 and it's 236 hp stock which is a little more than the stock Mustangs of the early and mid 80's. Just installed a full racing exhaust (real mufflers/no fart cans) and is in the process of rebuilding and adding a blower to the engine. It should turn out pretty quick when finished.

Dont fool yourself into thinking the lesser known cars are useless, my 2003 sonata, completely stock can keep par with more powerful cars, Australian holden commodores and ford falcons with V6 engines much larger than that of mine go just as hard.

nice takeoff >=].. he treed the stang ina 4door import w.a baby seat(bet that guy wasnt hppy).. &thats stock.. add an intake, exhaust, a good tuneup, suspension &lighter rims.. definate sleeper, ima be workn on that.. Anyone is free to think/say otherwise, itll jus make me work harder &laugh louder when usee how a v6 in the hands of a real tuner works ;]

@JessicaYvonne09 My 05, its freakin fast. Intake and exhaust is just enough to keep up with most cars. Of course its the V6 four door sedan. I love luxury with power!! I'm take mine to the strip this summer coming up, I'll post my 16 second time too.
