There was alot of truth in this video that can be seen across nearly all religions and eastern schools of martial arts concentration. There is invariably an aspect of the psyche that transcends space and time, and it is this aspect that should be exploited for one's chosen path. Insightful post.
I think you're on the right path, but still projecting your current level as an absolute, as if everyone is at the same level as you and that is the only landscape. I'd be more interested in your videos is you spoke of your PERSONAL path in personal, first person terms.
That's probably excellent advice. Hopefully, most people realize that everything I do or say comes from a personal place. Perhaps reading too much Gurdjieff and Ouspensky? I'll try to preface my message with a nod towards my own subjective reality. Thanks, Shawn.
"Hopefully, most people realize that everything I do or say comes from a personal place.'
I've been misunderstood in exactly the same way many times before. Back then it was obvious to ME that I could only speak from my own personal experience and knowledge. After all, who doesn't? It wasn't obvious to my audience.
"Perhaps reading too much Gurdjieff and Ouspensky?"
@TheIchor "I'll try to preface my message with a nod towards my own subjective reality"
If you talked about your personal experience, things you are actually doing and the results (or lack of) in a kind of experimental report "Ok, I tried this today, and...." that would be interesting. Hell, I might even try to replicate your results.
@TheIchor Late post, but I find this interesting. Often, if one shares personal experience and ideas, they are considered conceited. I prefer the idea of "we" as all of us are on the same path. Still, it is good to listen to the trail guide as we don't all have a map or familiarity with the trail.
On the telephone she told me ´there is just no way this man could have thought this all on his own terms. He must have had advanced access to some kind of insider knowledge´.
the Great work is all about people accepting the consciousness shift into their lives in ever more numbers. Just recently my first cousin called me to tell me about her experiences with watching V 2009 the remake and how the current talk about reptilians is helping her to wake up to what´s going on. She didn´t say she believes in them or anything like but that she feels now more alert and awake than previously. Particularly after having started to read H.G.Well´s works.
What you are saying has been around for thousands of years. The student does not wish to seve the teacher, he wishes to gain his knowledge. This is done by forgetting all that he thinks he knows to gain true knowledge, imparted on him by the teacher. This is emulation in its purest form, and all that the LHP stands for. To be truly adversarial is to accept that even you are wrong. We forget that we have a deep kinship with the higher powers. We don't wish to serve, they don't with to be served.
@01blackpete1 You could never tell. Even if it is the asshole, the lesser gods are still infinitely more developed mentally than us. We lack the ability to differentiate truth from lies on that level. A possible argument for faith? Is it possible that we could have a semi-accurate analysis of these forces today if it were not for JCI religions forbidding contact with them? We are so far behind, we cannot speak of truth or knowledge. All we have is perception.
@01blackpete1 Ritual magick must be lost on you. The lesser gods are thoughtforms. A thoughtform must be banished or exorcised, it cannot simply be destroyed. And the more attention we give them the more power they get. So how will you destroy something like Jehova or Allah? The term lesser is more of a category than an accurate description with them. Also, did we create them? Perhaps our "imagination" was "inspired" and we summoned them, not created them. Perhaps they are acting as Cthulhu?
Personally I think thats one of the reasons we humans are here. To gain concioussness of our true selves. Often I here people ask in a nihilistic way "What is the purpose in life?" My answer is to KNOW THYSELF as the oracles said! BTW you should check your shared with you section. My latest unlisted video involves Lovecraft!
@01blackpete1 Good question! There are a billion answers to that question as their are billions of individual selves. Im only beginning to glimpse my own true self. Most people go entire lifetimes without even beginning to look within. Im only a neophite at understanding what my own true self is. Its truly a labor of lifetime.
I think I half get what you're saying, and I made a similar argument in Postmodern Satanism. I don't prefer your terminology, but to each their own. And, BTW, awesome shirt, dude.
Indeed, JK. I think the notion of 'doing what you gotta do to succeed' has been around since the dawn of time. I decided to go the provocative route by claiming the LHP practitioner must submit to Higher Forces in order to approach self-deification. That word alone "submission" is going to stick in the craw of 90%. But that internal struggle, coming to terms with unpleasant truths, and Work friction is useful.
Thanks for the comment. Glad you like the shirt, hoss! ;)
You say that the RHP begins with "dominance". What do you mean? Dominance of the false self? And Submission to what? God? But we begin with a false notion of God and self. Our selfhoods are true/false. So it is a matter of transcend but include. The RHP soes not end in submission to Higher Powers. It ends in Nada, Nada! And a return to the Market Place.
Both the RHP people generally begin with Higher Beings, like Christians see themselves as Under the Authority of God and his Book.
Yes, the right hand path begins with dominance of the false self. Exactly! And it ends with submission to lesser gods that mean us harm. Our selfhood, just like everything, is based on a trichotomy: yellow, blue, and green.
The LHP practitioner can leverage his early submission to Higher Forces into dominance and Godhood. The rhp practitioner cannot... he will slowly slide into self-annihilation. Does that make sense to everyone? Please tell me if it doesn't.
@TheIchor OK...let me see....that the RHP ends in submission to lesser gods that mean us harm.....Well, in my view these lesser gods are in the realm of Maya. (There is an Egregore of X, Y and Z) What can be built up by a worshiping community can also be destroyed. Like a Tulpa. A Golem. We can destroy, transform and internalize.
In the lesser tantras the aspirant views the deity as being in a sense external. In the higher tantras we visualize ourselves to be the deity.
@01blackpete1 Cont....Was Meister Eckhart RHP or LHP when he said that for Gods sake he took leave of God? I think he had seen that the God of popular religion who can both help and harm (not just harm), and who in Reality does not have the reality ascribed to him by the theists, was now redundant. He had realized Advaita.
What is beyond annihilation in the Godhead is known by the gnostic to be a more and not a less. Nothing Real can ever be lost.
A trichotomy is perceiving something in terms of three, a triad. Three distinct values or poles rather than the standard dichotomy of two poles. I sometimes like to describe the first force as yellow, the second force as blue, and the third force (or third side) as green. Green being a product of yellow and blue. It's not strictly a combination of the two or a middle ground... that would be yellow/blue. Green is a distinct piece of the puzzle.
Sounds very similar to what Ouspensky refers to as false personality, and I see a need to surrender this aspect of oneself to become closer to your essence, what you are born with. I do agree with you that in order to disentangle our false personality from our usual modes of being requires a kind of surrender, but I'm not sure what kind of surrender you are referring to. Are you referring to surrendering to the reality of our own bullshit or actual outside higher forces? What are these forces?
Death of the false being is something I was talking about the other day. I think it's pretty black and white. Anything leaning towards arrogance needs to be purged from the mind in order for one to climb their own pyramid. Arrogance is the great hinder - once voluntary ignorance has been cut out of the way.

@TheBloodbrew What the fuck are you talking about? Did I say that these lesser gods are not thought forms? A tulpa is a thought form +
That is exactly my perspective.
Why don't you read and ask before you pass judgment?
Jehovah is the god of the Jew. He is an egregore. It is possible to destroy what one has created.
First you destroy YOUR OWN Jehovah. Then you set about destroying the Jehovah egregore in society.
The gods do NOT exist as beings outside of human consciousness IMHO.

Why would a LHP pactitioner wish to submit to Higher Beings? And how would he gain dominance if he continues to see himself as being in submission?
The sooner we can get rid of this idea of Higher Beings the better.
