I love God, but not agree with you. I don't believe that disaster was revenge of God. Who challenged God? Those who wrote in newspapers about "unsinkable Titanic", haven't suffered. Women, children and the whole families were lost. They didn't think about "unsinkability". Many have been compelled to sit down for this ship only because of strike of coal miners. Do you really think that God killed innocent people because He was offended by the advertisements in the newspapers?

@MissPamela89 that was just a small amount, it was mostly the men who died, considering all the woman and children got off first. but it still doesnt matter, no one should have died that night.

if the boats had responded to the distress signals and there were the right ammount of life boats on the ship there would have been alot more survivers.

they were not all men. they loaded woman and children first. the rich men made it but most of the poor men died

@princess782008 well what they did was took women and children first. mostly from first and second class.. but they did end up taking some third class women and children. many women and children died who were in frist class, and so did a lot of men, since they were kept to help with the lifeboats. many men of first and second class died, as well, because, like third class men, had to help.

yes it is. same here. especially the end those babies. the 2 most scariest scenes in the titanic movies are when the ship hits the iceberg & when it sinks. i could only watch those titanic movies once because it's too scary & sad. however i enjoy watching the 1980 movie " Raise the Titanic ". the soundtrack is beautiful & soothing.****

it was not the overestimation of the men's pride but it was the bad steel and rickets used to make the Titanic that made it sink and also poor design. so when the iceberg hit the titanic the steel bowed in and filled the boiler rooms and the walls didnt go to the top so the water would spill into the next boiler room till 5 of them was full and it was bottom heavy to tip over and break in half. The titanic though was a great idea in breakthrough of design in those times. RIP Titanic 4/15/1912

I don't think scientists should bring Titanic to the surface because 1,it's been marked a national gravesite and 2,the ship would probably disinagrate the second it touches air. I mean, it's one thing to bring up artifacts to study, but it's another to bring up the actual ship and study that. Plus, it would be extremely difficult to bring Titanic to the surface, even with our technology today. No offense to you, but I THINK it wouldn't be the smartest thing to do.

to me the actual ship is like a giant headstone, or tombstone. you would want to remove someones tombstone from their grave even though their remains might have disappeared. the ship lying at the bottom is the lasting memorial to its victims along with artifacts, seeing them at the wreck site reminds us all it was very real and is not just a hollywood blockbuster, we remember those people by seeing their belongings with the ship. check out my video on my channel and feel free to leave comments!

Isn't the first scene the RMS Olympic? Because the windows on deck A are simular to the ones on the Olympic while the Titanic had other windows in the front at deck A.

No, it actually isn't. When Titanic was first launched, she was almost exactly the same as the Olympic. However, to help emphasize sheer size and luxury, the enclosed part of the A Deck Promenade was installed and the housing on the Boat Deck was also made larger. But there was a point where Titanic looked like Olympic.

Thats what was told to the people around that time that the enclosed promenade deck was for luxury etc but the real reason it ws installed was because of vibrations in the ship during sea trails the needed to stiffin up the ship to help damping the vibrations, Titanic learned from Olympic and Britanic learned from Titanic. Its true you wouldnt tell people you want to sail on your ship you have problems like vibrations. Vibrations would also damage the ship through time by weakening the steel it affects. A clever PR stunt people need to remember that Titanic was built for to be the most luxurious having an enclosed area safe from sea winds but yet still outside as such was a thing that people would want to sail on a ship at that time. Yes Olympic did learn was showing that the ships 'evolved' from eachother

Something is telling me its in a documentry called Titanics achilles heel, it mentions the real reason for the enclosed promenade deck, also that Thomas Andrews was wanting to fit Titanic with 1.5 inch thick steel plates for here hull as the plates were flexing too much. However White Star didnt want these fit cause it was too expensive, alot of blame was put on the builders for Titanics sinking but the Builders had some constraints to what they could do! no. of lifeboats as another example
