  • cool

  • it ain't worth 1100 no more

  • i picked up a jr venture 30 size just needs a recever 65.00 bucks

  • What does 1100 dollars get you?

Somthing that can cut ur head off lol

  • you can get get a ready to fly nitro heli with ready to fly for 550.00 all you need is fuel and starter

  • @macdaddy1600 RC has come a long way in five years. 2.4ghz was hardly even on the shelves back then.

  • @macdaddy1600 : well, I spent 250€ back in 2009 in a Venture 30CP second hand, and I still fly it. Just had to change the belt and cyclic servos due to wear. Now searching for the ball bearings to change all of them

  • Nic vid, nice auto, pure geek. Love it.

  • Jajajaj that is true, such a cool Heli and doesn't even do stunts. You can tellhe doesn't know how...

  • @tonybuitrago1 ROFL. Sure I do. I only have the main shelf I removed from a closed down hobby shop full or RC's.

  • @tonybuitrago1 Lets see what you fly!!!! Jajajaja.

  • burnin a little oil eh?

  • @brianbb177 its a nitro engine not a two stroke. nitros don't require oil.

  • @iRevized Actually it is a two stroke... The nitro fuel has oil in it which is what you see shooting out the exhaust.

  • @team222badbrad Yes, i know i ment you dont mix gas and oil like a 2 stroke weedeater, sorry if it came out wrong, i have 6 nitro buggies and a baja 5b, theres no way of controlling the amount of lubricant in nitro unless you modify it, its complicated.

  • I've watched a number of videoes....why does yours smoke so much? What with the gas? I've seen a lot of them that run with out all the stuff. Did like your info. and video! Good job!

  • Local hobby store had a raptor 50 in great condidtion w/futaba tx for £400 and you paid $1100 for that pos?

  • @TR4351 Great, but I enjoy building my own and I know exactly what condition it's in.

  • All that and you dont even do stunts?

  • @ht448 This isn't a video about "stunts".

  • if ur gunna spend that much money buy a real one!

  • @The99REBEL You find me one first!

  • @team222badbrad lol just messin dude nice video and helichopper

  • Do you get .30 size nitro helis in these days? .60 and .90 are more common, right?

  • Ya goo luck with that

  • Nice job... small bit of constructive criticism. Everyone has done "review" videos... don't. Fly with your antenna "Up" not pointing down. Otherwise nice flight, but could have done without the 2/3 length of the video explanation and the cha ching sound.

  • The crash vid is part 2...

  • where do the little people sit?

  • Buying one on ebay or rcuniverse for $300.....priceless. I like savings the monies

  • @mgrande11 Only to find out it has crash damage and/or the engine is toast.

  • @team222badbrad bahahah aint that the truth alot of hobby stores ive been to wont work on rc ear bought from EBAY,TOY WORLD JAYCAR or anyother bs selling store without minimum deposit of first hour and labor fees lol good idea i reckon

  • holy smoke

  • @bjornke123456789 He's crop dusting his garden...

  • Practiceing on a simulator first.. PRICELESS

  • flying smoke machine!!!

  • lets go crash it!

    are you crop dusting?

  • lets go crash it!

  • For 1000 euro I got a bigger heli

  • this is the stupidest thing i have ever seen

  • i know 3 dollars get me 3 donuts...

  • I just got a new raptor 50 with everything rtf for 1100

  • 1100 is not much if you consider entire package.

my 'modded' hk450, cost a total of a little over a $600, as much of value as I could get from a smaller 450 with good electronics/servos and a futaba 7c radio/receiver.

  • Like the videa some of the responces are entertaining I am just learning so it all helps. Cheers

  • i would rather a trex500 esp or 600 then this harobo heli .. i have many friends who had the harobos over the years most no all i think now fly Trex's some Raptor's mostly couse of the price to perfomance. if they got cash on the hip can can spend a few quid from what ive seen they will then go for the.. Avant, Synergy, Outrage brands

  • i think you should tune the engine because it's smoking alot from the engine. . i dont know enything about rc nitro helicopters but i have a nitro rc car . . sorry about the english :) but nice helicopter!!:D

  • ....

  • lol i got all these things too,but never shown every dumb screw into camera :-)

RPM is much to high sounds horrible. Much pain for engine....

Please do me a favour....dont fly the sceadu with this rpm and so much nitro when youre only practising :-D

  • @Christhereal Please do me a favor...learn how to spell favor and practice :-D

  • @MACbook211

Excuse im not a english man in New York....lalalala

    Mr. TEACHER SIR

  • wow that much extra stuff is not worth getting gas helis electric is best in my opinion

  • @Exoskull969 Nothing beats the smell of nitro! Electric is nice though. :-)

  • @team222badbrad i like electric cuz when i crash i dont have to pay 1100$

  • @XxstryaexX1 Electric has basically has nothing to do with crash repair costs.

    It's helicopter brand and size.

  • @team222badbrad i guess u will get an 50 size heli for same money today

  • @MeloTopy Yes with the introduction of chinese stuff prices have dropped on quality stuff. Also new larger engines have come out so a .50 costs less than say the new .55 engines.

  • @team222badbrad

Yeah :) and u bought a real brand Heli :) Hirobo is solid :)

But i think i´ll buy an Trex 600 because its cheaper and i can´t afford a Hirobo or Mikado Heli with same size :D

  • @MeloTopy I have seen Hirobo SDX kits for less than $400.

  • @team222badbrad jep in germany about 360€ but when i add all components ill be at about 900€ A trex is just arround 750 :)

  • @MeloTopy my t-rex 600 esp costed about 1300€ (520 gyro, blettenberg motor....)

  • nice :P hirobo have very high quality helis... I see a big quality difference between my quark and some other (cheaper)helis i have owned... I'm planning to buy some bigger heli too... Quark doesn't like much wind on outdoor conditions :D

  • @snuggles0388 Check out my scale bird video! :-)

  • it is better to fly on 16% coz your engine life will be longer and loose of performance is very small, also it is cheaper!

  • @MrCrazyCookie1 There is no such thing as 16% here for heli's. 20% or 30% and my hobby shop only has 30%

  • k after u done playing with this shit go do my homework

  • i got lucky i paid 345 bux for a thunder tiger raptor with full jr electronics

rx and tx on ebay //

  • or you got many heli's or you lost a couple of fingers^^

  • ive got one of these... i ducttaped a wireless video on it so i can watch my nieghbors

  • man i started a month ago with a small full function helicopter from my local hobby shop and within a week i was buying bigger more expensive models what a cool hobby

  • LOL I started with the machine in this video in sept. 06 no I've got more heli's than fingers!

  • Snap I started with a cheapy and now within two years I have a fleet of 18 450 up 600 size and its still growing, fantasti hobby bucy very addictive

  • This is such an addictive hobby.!

  • then you crash it and break it into pieces.

  • nice over veiw

  • Great, if my wife sees this video I'm screwed.

  • Cool, but you dont HAVE to spend 220 Dollar for a Gyro+tail servo//

  • Great job on building your heli :D....although I always prefer electric or gas.....I hate that slime that you get from nitro

  • hahaha i got a 46. max o.s. engine for 130 brand new

  • your point is ? you got ripped off ? i the same for 70 euros.

  • Good review, this is a 30 size heli. Whos the idiot? That would be you jcer93705

  • Stupid idiot that aint no damn 30 size

  • Let's see here SMARTY PANTS...

IT has an OS .37 engine in it, 550mm main blades, and is a HIROBO Sceadu Evo 30 kit.

If it's not a 30 size then what is it??? HAHAHA

  • HAHAHA

  • $1100 for a flying smoke machine! XD

    Looks sweet! Keep it going!

  • Comment removed

  • squash plate lmao swash plate

  • im thinking of getting a Raptor 30 V2 ARF w/39H motor. I jsut need to know do you think the manual will outline how to set up squash plate, throttle trim, blade tracking and pitch curves etc.? Would the heli be mainly assembled with motor installed ?

  • sounds so peaceful until you fire that bitch up brummmm brummm put an airsoft gun on it and chase the birdies

  • Pretty informative video, there are a lot of things one must buy just to get started with the hobby.

Especially gas/nitro requires way more tools, accessories and also fuel compared to electric.

Surely, a complete first-timer can't get much lower than that save for buying a complete used kit.

But then it's used vs new, and ofc you may still not get Rx/Tx/Servos in the deal, as very few sellers are willing to depart with these. In general only bodies, airframes and engines are sold.

  • Training too. People waste a lot of money and crash. I only use Rc nitro cars like Kyosho and Traxxas. Nitromethane is only around 20 to 30 a gallon. A lot though. Engines are priced 300 dollars just for the car, and require 2-3 hours to break them on.

  • Woah! That is running WAY too rich!

  • I got a brand new complete, JR 30 Venture Heli for £150 on eBay, long live ebay! :D

  • I would pay for a better Heli with better components about 1200$

I never would buy this stuff...

  • Oh yeah?

    Define better...

  • Probably a 450 size T-Rex ;-)

  • lol, electric heli's arent anywhere near as fresh as gas..

  • However if this is your first helicopter or rc model in general, then the Tx, Rx and servos kit push the price upwards pretty steeply but are considered a "one time buy". Many experienced modelers keep forgetting this "first time" expense to get into the hobby...

  • here in Australia u can get a raptor 30 v2 going for $750

  • I love the comment 2 much exhaust, YA THINK look around 5:40 its like a bush ifre going on

  • 30% Nitro??

    Heavy :D

I fly with 10% in my Raptor 50 and its enough Powerful to own 11° pitch

But if youre have so much money for gas so do it ;D

  • 5/5 nice quality

    nice helicopter

    well the helicopter is awesome

  • to much exaust.

  • exhaust is good. No stream of exhaust = smoked engine.

  • is that the new version on the old shuttle zxx ?

  • Very nice .30 size bird you built.

Update the cost to $39.99 per gallon for Cool Power 30% after the 2008 Olympics anti airpollution shut down Nitro production in China. I just built the 50 Sceadu SWM with a Redline .53 and I dont even want to guess how much that build has cost me.

  • thanks!

I don't want to know how much money I've spent either since I bought my first "hobby grade rc" the Tmaxx in 04.

  • I agree with hillpykiller These are not toy you could chop a Arm or finger off when my uncle brought a gas plane over and cut his arm and had to get stitches.

  • lol cool take care of that thing i have a gas arplane a trainer but i dont fly it because im waiting till i get more money to repair it if it crashes

  • Get a foam supercub, and simulator, but at least the supercub, and learn to fly on that first. Spend the money on the cub, and you won't need repair money for the nitro trainer

  • oh no mother nature is being polluted

  • ffs

  • @XNoobKillaX:

    its not a TOY

  • fucking the people say that nitro r/c helicopters are toys thay are not fucking toys there is a fucking difference between a toy one and a HOBBIE one fucking learn the difference.

  • Why would you spend SO MUCH money to play with a TOY HELICOPTER...

  • Actually flying the heli from the ground, is a lot harder to fly than a real one, and takes a lot of skill and practice. Take a look around youtube and see what some good flyers can do with the 3D helis... But looks like you'd rather dance with your boyfriends and post it on youtube videos.. hillarious

  • Because the technical part is cool, and to learn to fly it. I could ask the same question about computer games, while you probably find that normal

  • Whoo, pretty cool. But you'd have to pay me to deal with all that assembly. Oh, and nice sound effects. Cha-ching!

  • spending 2 days building them is the best part!

    Thanks

  • Cool. I have never owned a 30 size heli, as the 50 sizes are now as cheap.

  • depends on what brand you buy.

  • DAMN 20$+ FOR GAS IS ALOT

  • well thats 30% the less % the less it costs

  • nice vid !! looks like you had a little wag there at first!!!!

  • what the hell fuckin rip off my helicopter cost 100 dollars and it flys up to 900 feet and it brings all those things exept for the tools and its foam its harder material

  • Apparently you have never seen a "real rc" helicopter fly.

  • that 100 heli is garbage, can't fly inverted or do anything but crash lol

  • how well dos the 401 hold on the hirobo

  • i paid a little more for my tt30 raptor

but i got some good stuff ;)
