The fact that it was a secret should tell you something. Why was he keeping it a secret?? Was he ashamed? The minute he found out he was illegal should have been the moment he sought assistance to start the process of gaining citizenship. Poor guy had no idea that he illegal, though. Not very fair of his parents to do that to him.

With all the entitlements we have and the lack of self sufficiency of many illegal immigrants any amnesty could bankrupt us further and further.
