can you use traction with a midi keyboard?controller ??

because i tried to connect it to my Novation Nocturn 25 (i can controll the volume and all .. but) whenever i try to press anything on the keyboard it wont play ...

it says that i dont have any soft synthesizers ... (WTF)

see thats the thing I do not know how to load plugins in to this ... and also load instruments into it ..

Great song .. i import a classic rock song into Tracktion ... i want to split that stereo clip so i can remove all the instruments and capture the vocal only. I'll play all the instruments and add back the pro voice in lieu of my terrible voice. Do you know if Track 3 is capable of it? Thanks.

@mgf17950 I don't think there's such voice-extraction function in Tracktion (and other DAW softwares). It must be done by very complicated works rather than by simple tool-specific technic.

@SantretZeldo thank you for your help... Tracktion 3 is awesome and in my opinion much more user friendly then CuBase. i was just hoping for something more. Since then i found Audacity can do the voice extraction (i actually want to remove the music and isolate the voice). I'll figure it out using Audacity. Thanks again.

@thrashboss dude totally buy it. I got the project version for only $50!!! With the right tweaking the sound is perfect! And this program is based almost all around tweaking. But I would recommend buying an AI because USB mics don't sound real great on it.

@TheJasonOwens yeah, I recorded with only that for a while then my friend got an AI with two good mics and my mic is for like back up vocals and stuff now.

Right. It's dry and loopish, because this is a test of usability of loops bundled with Tracktion3.

That's a good thing. I just saw the demo where they put amplitube over the guitar making a really overdriven tube sound. If there was too much going on in the tone already you wouldn't be able to tweak the tones and EQ how you need for your mix.

Nice job. Which version of Traction 3 did you use? Did everything you used in the song come with it?

The version is 'the biggest one' (Tracktion 3 Premium? Platinum? like that..)

All sample loops in this song are bundled in the box, except piano/bass sounds.

Thanks. It really is. There are not many saxophone loops bundled, and I tried to use almost all of them.
