about 6 months ago i listened to Devourment to see if i can i could get in to their music... well idiscovered goregrind wasnt for me. my freind gave me a bunch of songs of off limewire and this was one of them... that was about 2 months ago this became my favorite song in a matter of minutes, i cant believe i didnt like devourment. from the overly brutal breakdowns to the amazing vocals..... theres a lot to love. hell took me a month to learn how to do these vocals :)

Now, I'm going to do a continuation of my previous reply because your stupidity knows no bounds. Death metal was founded on the idea of having good riffs. We didn't need tech death for that. Tech death came in as a way to make the riffs more complex and difficult to play. Simplicity can go a long way. For example, bands like Massacre, Incantation, Autopsy, etc. all have fairly simple riffs but a single one of their riffs is more interesting than any BR00DLE death metal band's entire discography.

Deathcore has the exact same mentality as slamming death metal: the idea of wanting to sound "brutal". Death metal was not made to be a pathetic contest of who can sound the most incoherent and stupid. Deathcore and slam also both have breakdowns as the focal point of the music. BREAKDOWNS ARE FUCKING GAY. No matter how they're implemented, if they're the most important part of the song that usually means that the rest of the music is terrible.

Aborted is deathcore.
