Funny I type this receiver into youtube and this is the first video that popped up, then I notice by your dash, your car appears to be a 2nd gen GS300/400, which is exactly what I am putting a radio in. Would you recommend this stereo, anything better out thats around $400 or less?

I have this, and i really do not like using the screen to look for my songs, its soo distracting while driving! Do you know if you can use an AUX in cable and let me navigate my music on my ipod instead of the screen?

@snowboardfrontfliper I dont have this radio anymore but, I think some Pioneers have a setting of handing over control to the iPod so you can navigate on it instead of the screen.

@snowboardfrontfliper would you prefer changing the cds while you're driving. That's what the remote is for or if you have it as I do buttons on the steering wheel use them.

I like these type of Pioneer radios and honestly, you should not be playing around with it when you are driving, just like you also shouldn't play around or set the destination on the GPS when you're driving. There are many thing you shouldn't be doing while driving LOL

What I do is set a playlist before I drive, just as you would set the destination on your GPS. Or just turn on your favourite radio station or you could always watch some movies haha

@pomidorwp Its in my show car so i have a Shaved antenna, no radio station... And Its alot less distracting clicking next on an ipod, then messing with the touch screen trying to find the correct button

Does this come with a physical button on the outside to turn off the display, whilst still keeping the audio on? Just incase I run into cops or something I'd want to turn off the display, but still have music running.

I got a problem..I got the AVH-P4200DVD, i set up the bypass as well as hooking up 2 10inch kickers running off a rockford fosgate amp.. worked great when i just wired it, i go to screw it in..turn back on and now my radio wont work, cd plays but the dvd shows only sometimes and i cant eject it for some reason...HELP anyone?

@Gamingrelease yeah it has a wired remote input. U will need to buy a PAC interface to be able to use it though.

I've been considering this unit for my car, how do you like it? I have a large SUV and want to be able to run my speakers with significant power, but at 14 watts RMS that seems pretty wimpy.. has power been an issue for you with this stereo?

@LoxCarAudio if you're talking about FM, yes it does display the song tags if the station has RDS. Get the 4200, it has a bigger screen.

@luisgutierrezish Yeah dude, u need the Pioneer IPOD cable to display the videos on the head unit. Using a regular usb ipod cable will not show the videos.

HD box is like a 100 bucks. It's the one listed on the Pioneer site. U can mount it anywhere, it's small.
