i believe that this song is misleading, i use to listen to this and sing it alot, but it never felt right, and it hit me that it's sort of teaching that you can kind of do whatever, an invitation to sin but since God sees "the best in you" it's fine, you can continue to do it without repenting? that's what i perceive from this song. that's not good, and that's a dangerous thing to do.

This is a true song ........God can see us for who we are because he looks beyond the surface of our inperfections .........beyond our mistakes .........beyond our faults .............and he can see the best in who we are simpy because we are his creation ..........and in all that he created ....he saw that it was good. Even when we can't see the best in ourselves ........we can thank our heavenly father for reminding us that no we are not perfect but still ...........we are his children.

He has plans for your life I thought the same thing about my talent/career. I learned that I have to know that I am singing for God.And nobody else. i know this is only a song to some, but it truly is my testimony. for years i had nothing but negativity in my life surrounded by violence and the spirit of depression and mental illness and years of abuse.
