Oh my God. I am shocked. I have seen him in March still on the stage in the Wynn. This meets me very much which passes away thus a young dynamic man so suddenly.
God Bless you Danny and your family. I was very saddened by your passing. My condolenses to your wife and kids. You will be greatly missed. You have left a big mark on entertainment. Your legend will never die. You are the real deal. Hope you are entertaining God in Heaven right now.

I'm really surprised, because I'd never heard of the guy, so I watched some videos, and...er...what is the deal? He seems like someone doing a parody of bad impressionists. Or someone doing stupid pet tricks on Letterman. his impressions are really dated and they're the easy ones to do....I don't get it. he's no Terry Fator that's for sure! even his kids have those predictable lame names.
The hair really looks dyed.
and who in the world chooses the "Entertainer of the Year" anyway?
To misanthrope8...No...I think YOU sound like someone who could do stupid pet tricks on Letterman. You're too insignificant and ignorant to be of any importance in this world. You're the one who'll be forgotten when you die:-) And stop being so jealous of a man who EARNED his place in the world....you'll never amount to anything....and deep down...you already knew it:-)
Any Danny Gans conspiracy theories out there? It seems mysterious. Conflicting news reports: 1. He passed away in his sleep 2. He woke up with shortness of breath. Also, the time of death is conflicting: 1. Larry King reports he passed at 1:30am. 2. Other reports say 3:44am, someone called 911 and was he still alive having breathing problems. There's been a toxology report requested, which is only done to test for drugs. Danny barely even drank.
I miss Danny Gans. I really wanted to see his show as well as Steve Wynn who brought him to the Encore. I can't believe that he died at a young age and perform so short at the Encore. I feel so sad for Steve Wynn, Wynn Resorts, Las Vegas Entertainers, everyone in Las Vegas, and most of all the guest who are going to watch him at the Encore. It was my dream to be like Steve Wynn, experience the beauty of Las Vegas, and to watch any show in Las Vegas like Terry Fator, Le Reve, and Danny Gans.
Danny Gans was a fantastic performer and will be missed by me and millions of other fans. My heartfelt prayers go out to his family and friends who, along with his faith were the core of his life.
As a Las Vegas entertainer, I can only hope to touch the surface of creating a legacy like his. I am shocked and deeply saddened by the untimely passing of Las Vegas' all-time top performers. "Thank You Danny Gans, for bringing so much joy to so many people!" RIP my friend.
It just goes to show, don't put off till tomorrow what you can do today - I wanted to see Danny Gans when I went to Vegas - Now, I will never have that opportunity. Rest in Peace Danny I'm sure heaven is excited to have him there.
Saw him back in the late 80's when he opened for Joan Rivers....don't remember much of Joan's show...Danny was Brilliant!!!!
