@tolismj its possible, but this mobo supports cpus at up to 95watt TDP thats y i bought the phenom 2 945 95watt version for it, but the website says wit supports higher wattage cpus with an bios update but im not gonna try my luck wit that
@nykel my problem is that my games have problem it always get slow and slow and slow inside the game i have 4gb ram 1 tb hard disk 512 nvidia sparkle 9400gt and the AMD Athlon LE1640 sAM2, 2.70 GHz what you think i must do to get my games work fine ?
@tolismj well u ll need a newer graphic card and cpu, depend on ur budget u can get an athlon x3 3.3ghz for 88 on newegg and a ati 4670 that ll boost ur gaming up abit
I have the same motherboard but I don't think it supports AM3 phenom@II proccessors does it??also it sucks that this mobo only supports certain 1066 ram it says you have to play with the voltage which is a NO NO for me!!!!:))Anyways Nice Rig Man mine will be built soon when I get the funds available.
it does support am3 cpus but u ll need a bios update which is quite easy to do.... yea u ll have to mess wit the voltage to get ram to read at 1066.... but the performance difference between ddr 2 800 & 1066 is not that significant.
Omega power supply 600w.....wats tha amps on 12v rail
