In a big auditorium, singing on stage, the reverb sometimes is as much as half a second or a second later coming back to the performers. That means what they're hearing is a muddled mess of sounds, they can't hear themselves sing and have to use pure muscle memory to try and hit the right notes ALL the time - while dancing. Respect to these guys.

oh it wasn't mess up. they were chorus each other and it was a live performance so they dance and sing at the same time it is hard to control the sound at the same level that why you heard the chorus louder than lead vocal.
I think it sounds off because you can't hear who ever is singing the melody ( i think jacob). The other four guys' mics are up too high so it sounds off b/c you can only hear the four part harmony. Notice how Dan never goes off key once. Irregardless, the guys did their jobs properly, can't say the same for the guys in the sound booth
well, i cant blame o-town too much since the music went off, but i can blame the people who trained them. It's obvious they were not trained to handle mistakes. For that i feel bad. But they did keep going and for that i take my hat off to them. I wonder what each is up to.

i remember this.. i think they said their ear monitors weren tworking.. x_x... this is waaaay off to be just that... if you practice this all the time you shouldnt be missing the chords..

i think they r all good singers. but this song & tthe dancing really creeps me out & they ALL were bad off key, BAD. umm... & Dans voice is A-MAZING but he kinda sucked too! O & on 2:17 that was so totally gay??

people have to remember, hardly any performer sounds good live, cos they dont have a gud enuf mix on the vocal production, and when o-town or any other band sing accapella you will find that they all have exceptional vocal talents. thats not a fan statement, thats a fact. lol. but they are gud singers to be fare to them.

oh it wasn't mess up. they were chorus each other and it was a live performance so they dance and sing at the same time it is hard to control the sound at the same level that why you heard the chorus louder than lead vocal.

I think it sounds off because you can't hear who ever is singing the melody ( i think jacob). The other four guys' mics are up too high so it sounds off b/c you can only hear the four part harmony. Notice how Dan never goes off key once. Irregardless, the guys did their jobs properly, can't say the same for the guys in the sound booth

I think this was their first live performance on national tv...i think it could have gone a lot worse...it wasn't good, but definitely not terrible

well, i cant blame o-town too much since the music went off, but i can blame the people who trained them. It's obvious they were not trained to handle mistakes. For that i feel bad. But they did keep going and for that i take my hat off to them. I wonder what each is up to.
