I love this movie.... Most ski racing movies are awesome but this takes it to the next level of the sport it self not just the motions

This is a new DVD release of one of the best movies about professional skiing ever made. Great performances by Redford and Hackman, along with a new documentary about how it was filmed. A must-see.

@mossmiller This has always been 1 of my favorite movies for some reason. I don't know why, I mean there are obviously many better films. I just like cinematography, the scenes in the European towns, & the Porsche the girl drives. In that respect could care less if was about skiing or championship checkers. I just like the look of certain films from the 60/70's. This is 1. The DVD you speak of is the criterion collection edition? I LOVE to see films "the making of".
