@breaneainn You make a good point. The wikileaks have been going on before Assange. Clarke told them where and how, and he got demoted from a cabinet level meeting. God damn, Clarke told that wonderful rice, who rummy called stupid, that al quadea was not a group to be lumped in with Afghanistan and Pakistan, but had to be addressed separately and vigorously (he spent 5 yrs. trying to kill bin laden).

@walkermydawg Even though I'm in Australia, we get an unique perspective because we're equally exposed to media from the u.s. and europe. It was plain to everyone that the u.s. were just using the situation to gain leverage. The coalition of the willing included our Prime minister alongside Blair and bush, and with the realisation that "Weapons of mass destruction" was a bald faced fabrication, our Prime Minister actually lost the following election for cowtowing to the other two.
