  • That was exactly what I needed to hear. I always put too much on my list. I need to do the thing that gives me nourishment first. And then take baby steps. I think it is totally understandable that you have a full load preparing for your race and cannot take on more. The people who care about you will understand that and stick around. And more opportunities will arise. Underachiever is the new overachiever!!

  • I just found your channel and am beginning to work on my health. Thanks for the information. Have you thought about getting a virtual assistant to help you with all of the admin stuff you have to deal with? Just a thought.

  • you are beautiful in your honesty, authenticity and integrity. Thank you!

  • Reassess Tim. What are your goals? Where are you going? What do YOU want?

  • HEY PEOPLE! I think we need to do something to help Tim. Maybe we can just give him a little breathing space for a while? God knows he deserves it as he's been such a great inspiration to all of us, me included.

Does anyone else have any suggestions that might help take some weight off his shoulders?

    :)

  • "There is nothing in this world you are supposed to do."

You have options, that you freely can pick from or not.

    All is well. :-)

    No stress. Peace. Calm, Breath.

    Start meditating, Brother.

  • You're training for a race that the majority of the population can't finish. I respect what your doing and think you have accomplished more than most. You have a gift man and it changes peoples life for the better. You're an ispiration to me. Thanks.

  • nobody should ever feel they have to justify what they do to anybody, period. Its our right to live the way we want, period.

  • @Le5hitbag you are so right on with that comment!

  • yeah, follow ur heart don't over analyze, for sure

  • here is an opportunity: Watch "dept collapse" right now. or i get fucked by reality.

  • My documentary offer will continue to be there, whenever it feels right for you. You will know when the time is right :-)

Though if something was started sooner it may be possible to get you a sponsor and some new shoes.

  • Exactly! such an important message for busy Americans.

  • You need to outsource a part of your life. Since you are on a low budget I advise you to outsource it to someone in Cambodia, India is already too expensive nowadays. He or she can answer your emails, answer phone inquiries, check business proposals, keep your agenda and maybe even direct and edit your YouTube videos. ;)

  • Love you! Ok, in a bro-way, but I love you!

  • Just sending you my appreciation. Peace to you also. :o)

  • Very Cool thanks for sharing. Keep 'em comin'. Words of wisdom and simplicity. Tim Van Yoda. PEACE.

  • I've worked out with you every day since day one! You are a huge inspiration; thank you :)

  • My trainer, who moved away, e-mailed me tonight and told me to step back from stressing over trying to keep twice a day cardio up like I was before Christmas. The volume of newbies in the gym at night over the next 2 months (before most quit) were stressing me out as I dont do well in crowds. She said, if you can handle dual cardio days once or twice a week, thats more than enough at this stage of my recovery and training. Kind of like you just said Tim.

  • I wish I could offer some assistance, but its kind of hard from Florida.. I think your mindset to focus on your training is a good idea.. You mentioned before training is fun to you and pushing yourself to be better is just what you do.. Even though you feel drained right now, training is going to give you the most return on your energy...then re-assess what you really want after ESB... Just know you have a lot of people in your corner no matter what!

  • First things first, you say....Hmmm. Think I've heard that somewhere before. Knowing my limitations is important so I don't make that list longer than is reasonable. Do I know what is reasonable? Or am I just lazy? Could I push harder? I have. I have pushed to meet expectations and made it and had destroyed my immune system. Had adrenal burnout. Now I don't always know if I should push or call myself lazy. I do seem to see it in black and white. Don't know, but good video, Tim. Thinking!

  • Tim, you should watch this video.

  • Training for me is a mountain off in the distance. A fixed gaze upon it for SOME duration everyday is good for the soul.

  • i love these videos as it makes u seem more human

    Great to see others struggling

  • Consider finding yourself a professional manager who'd screen stuff down to manageable bite-sized bullet-points, so you can focus on your particular gifts.

  • @karenhidef those things need a lot of money.

  • @therawlifefamily but of course! That's what those opportunities can pay for and then be more capable of taking even more on. Or stay a lean one-man operation which is cool too.

The hardest part would be finding the qualified/reliable person.

  • Eat some carbs, eat something, where is happy tim

  • @mikecazzx dude he is fine, he is just stressed out, haven't you ever been overwhelmed with 200x more goals than you can possibly achieve in a short amount of time. this issue is not carbs.

  • you said it yourself! focus on training now.

  • Great video, My aunt always told me when you have a lot to do. Do the most important thing first. Thanks for sharing. :)
