I wished I read this manga. (I have drawn Ai for my Final Art project like 2 years ago) Anna Tsuchiya seems like a good person to go well with this voice. (She plays and sings as Nana in Nana). The voice I admit doesn't seem to go well with the images to me it looks like it's some kind of amv. Didn't realize until later it wasn't just like a amv promotion thing this is suppose to be Ai's voice.

This isnt at all how I imagined the princess ai music. they either needed to get a vocalist with a harder voice, or more angelic. shes so mono toned. they might as well have just used courtney love, herself. this song was better than broken leash though at least -.-

I was thinking a soft voice, like Myco... the voice really doesn't suit ai :/ the singer sounds like your typical drama/goth style teen with no depth, but Ai is much more than that, Ai is really deep with a voice that heals.

I'm not sure I like the girl they got to sing for Ai. Its a strong voice but something in the way she sings makes me not like her voice. I always expected Ai to have a sweeter tone. I know she's very hard edged but her voice to me should be sweet and angelic. =/

Though they're also not Autumn's or Lee's style too.And they'd probably be so expensive to hire...TokyoPop ppl could just stick to the manga's storyline and find some gorgeous girl in the street. The lyrics for Princess Ai are too dark too have such a generic sounding singer, is all... She's not terrible, but she could be better. But that really would be nice. ^^;

I really like the song, it's arranged nicely, but the singer...I don't know, her voice isn't as good as you would hope. She's ok, it's just not great, you know? lol Courtney actually beats this voice, though I do prefer this singer's softer-voice rather then Courtney's rugged vocals..so I guess it's all right. I did not forget. It's anime, so to me it just wasn't worth mentioning. But you're right it would be interesting! I do wonder when the anime of this is coming out, tho. I do have the 1st set of manga.  I haven't gotten her "Ai-Land Adventures" yet. I'll give Courtney credit for this: since she lost Kurt, this really is a nice (albeit pretty obvious) way of keeping his memory alive. She's lucky that she has the $, the man power, & the connections to pull it off. Some of us aren't so lucky.

These are only coloured images from the manga save for maybe three parts in there. Considering that it is a manga of course they're going to be animed. I thought Broken Leash was terrible with the way they did it honestly. This one is still a little annoying but at least it's better I suppose if you like vector.
