Although I'm a bruins fan, that looked like a clean hit to me, no elbow up, or really any suspicious movement by checker, savards head was just shoulder level. Sucks though Savards on my fantasy league and i'm debating dropping him.

@ToyMashene It's called physics. The force transfers through the helmet into your head. So you don't get cut or bruised, but the force from the hit goes through the helmet and his head might have snapped into the ice when he landed.

Im a Canadiens fan and I feel bad for Savard. Personally I hate Philly more than Boston because Philly is full of morons who would do the same think as Cooke if they had the chance. Whatever happened to real hockey. The days of Wayne Gretzkey and other greats was the best for Hockey.Now people think its all about beating the crap out of each other. Thats not hockey. matt cooke is one pussy for sure. he does this all the time and doesnt fight unless hes challenged. when shawn thornton fought him the next bruins game thornton kicked his ass. at the start of the fight thronton told cooke to take his visor off to make it a fair fight, but cooke being the pussy he is refused to. thornton first had to get cookes helmet off which is a challenge, but once he accomplished that feat, he absolutely manhandled matt cooke
