  • Poll tax was to replace rates, school milk was a plan previously set in place by labour, more mines closed under labour. She lowered overall taxation for all. Won a war - so much more to say really. People forget the winter of discontent previous? 3 day working week? Blackouts? Economy at its knee's due to unethical strike action. Labour since - unnecessarily spend tax money, illegal war, immigration nightmares and undermine meritocracy . Naive responses. quite anoying. AND I VOTE GREEN!

  • Thatcher = greed uncareing and up yours to all working class, remember school milk, poll tax, miners strike all down to that evil cow and the Tory party and hear we go again with dodgy Dave and his greedy band of liars and robbers who are makeing the working class pay

  • Thatcher was a disgrace. She sold our country to the money markets and foreign corporations. This country is f'ked because of her policies and those who followed her contemptible example.

  • Good speech, Thatcher is right. England should have kept India, screw them.

  • song please

  • There'll be a hell of a party when she eventually makes her long-overdue trip downward to the fiery bowels of hell, and her funeral will need to proceed quickly through London under a hail of shit, bricks and sputum. At the altar of greed and money-grubbing, her funeral dirge will be read through the snout of a pig.

  • What on earth is alarming about this ?

  • Comment removed

  • All of that bollocks about the English speaking world is no longer relevant. It's not the cold war any more. Americans supported the IRA massively. Australian is becoming more multicultural America will fairly soon be a hispanic nation.

The only place left is Europe. At least we have democratic influence in Europe, being the 'junior partner' in a 'special relationship' means the average person in your country is fucked over by the Americunts.

  • @bolloxinator 2 British Industry was dissolving anyway, it was overmanned, the union leader Arthur Scargill wanted workers to be paid for digging dirt when minerals were quickly running out! The Unions caused the 3 day week! Because of some of the strikes - gravediggers refused to go back to work in merseyside until they got their pay! The council was considering dumping the bodies in the Irish Sea! Because of militant trade unionists like scargill the industry collapsed quicker!

  • @garnerwills Absolute cobblers, everything you said there. It cost 10 billion pounds in today's money to throw the miners out of work and onto the dole, taking all the shops and pubs and other small businesses in the mining towns with them.

Now, the tory bastards want to open the pits back up again.

Unions don't strike for no reason, no matter what your rightwing scandalrags say.

  • @London2272 Cobblers? What I said was fact... The Unions became too powerful. Mick Mcgahey said when asked what he wanted, to bring the government down. Winter of Discontent: This is what life was like - people were pissed off with the Unions. I am in favor of the Unions but when many like scargill became communist anarchists, they were a pain. They even affected Labour such as "In place of strife"

  • @London2272 I have studied this historical period in great detail. Trade Unions had the government since Harold Wilson by the balls. They made inflation sore through wanting huge wage rises, denying this would be wrong. Unions are good for the worker, however, when they push wages to go way to high and want political power while not being elected is WRONG! Go do your research!

  • She'd gone pretty batty by this point tbh...

  • the world will be a better place when this old bat and her sycophantic followers are no longer here - bigots who only take care of the rich.

  • @23Tinky08 unfortunately theyll always be there...these ppl have kids you know... and so we keep fighting the bastardxs

  • She's brilliant. Sad that so many failures are filling up youtube...

  • @TheJinkedful You're an idiot! Thatcher doesn't deserve this legendary status she has aquired. She's a right wing dream come true- OK, fine. She did achieve economic success. But did she help the lives of millions in the country? Nope. Did she improve the standards of living for the majority of people? Not at all. All she did was rid us of our national industries and turn us into a financial capital. The reason she is so disliked is because he ruined a LOT of lives.

  • God, she's racist!

  • @ToaJoe You're an idiot.

  • @ToaJoe we are the best country in Europe.

  • @alexandertory That means nothing! Germany would call themselves the best in Europe. France would, too. My position is that we should help each other out.

  • @ToaJoe Help each other out! when has Europe ever helped Britain out. They bleed us dry, they are a thorn in our side. Britains relationship with Europe should only be trade, no laws, no currency, and definately No to their stupid Human rights. Ever since we adopted it our criminals have been getting Europe to over rule British Justice, Criminals getting votes, criminals arguing for their rights. Bollox! if you commit a crime and your a pain in the arse to society you forfeit you rights! hang em

  • @ToaJoe The problem is its to easy today when someone questions Immigration or is patriotic or says we are better to call them racist! now I do think she was suspicious of foreigners and the way they have come here in 100s and thousands i dont blame her! I think we were great allies with poland during the war but I dont wanna live next door to em, or work with em, enough is enough.

  • @alexandertory I've heard that before. Truth is, if you ask these anti-immigration people if we should block off French people or American people (whites), they would say 'of course!', but the truth is (and we all know this) all you actually care about is the black people coming in, but there is no point debating it because you will deny it.

  • @ToaJoe No I dont believe we should block off Americans, but I do believe we should block off the polish, yes the Asian. I'ts not just colour although, I do consider myself anti Islamic to a certain degree and I will not apologise or feel guilty for no one. the problem however we face at the moment when it comes to immigration, is Europe! Thats where the majority are coming from and I don't like it. I'd say 70% of Britain don't like it.

  • @ToaJoe The mistake you are making like a typical left winger is if someone opposes immigration they are facist and a racist. I ceretainly dont believe in a totalitarian regime to solve Britians problems I do believe in the freedom of democracy but I do oppose mass immigration from where ever it comes from. Yes I am anti Islamic but thats religion not race. I would think the world would be a far better place if Islam did not exist!

  • @alexandertory No, I'm not making that mistake. I hate Islam too, but I also detest Christianity to the same degree. Generally I am anti-religious. Don't think that the world would be any better with Christianity as the dominant religion- the bible is just as much as a blood thirsty advocate of violence as the quarran is.

I am opposed to mass immigration- but my point was that why should white immigrants be viewed differently to black immigrants?

  • @ToaJoe On that we agree as a fellow athiest (as they label us) I suppose even if mass immigration had come from any country we would as a nation oppose it, Polish people are white and I oppose them coming here in thousands, I dont oppose black immigration more, I hold both both in eqaul contempt. I do believe Margaret was the only leader to really stand up for a patriotic Britain, yes she made many mistakes but as for her courage and conviction I admire her.

  • @alexandertory IMO there needs to be tighter regulation on immigration, not just caps. I met a couple from the middle east who told their kids they 'shouldn't be mixing with the white kids'. I think cunts like them should be deported so that peaceful, open minded Muslims can enter the country in their place.

  • @ToaJoe If they do not want to live by our means, dress like us and abide by our values then they can very easily float back on the same drifting door that they came here on.

  • Alarming comments? Everthing she said is true. She is an real UK patriot. Not like some of these commentators here, who doesnt even have that word in their vocabulary.

  • @janustinus quite right! Britain needs more politicians with courage backbone and a sense of duty to this nation and our people. fuck everyone else. cameron is letting us down though. Foreign aid should be stopped we have no money! look after the Brits no one else matters

  • Poisonous old crone. The emblem of greed, self-interest, poor-bashing and service-flogging, her legacy a destroyed British industry, a shitpile of battered services and reveresed social advances, sense of community replaced with one-upmanship and bugger thy neighbour. What a horrible, dismal, miserable, regressive rule she had. Her bastard spawn now attempt the same things. Let's hope there are riots and social unrest unlike anything seen before, even in '90/91. Let's bury her politics in style.

  • @bolloxinator

You so realize that those industries were LOOSING MONEY and literally fuckign the countries economy up and were are now a superpwoer again due to thatcher we wud not be if it wasnt for the drastic change is nto as if she just decided too.. you need to look some shit up

  • @403766 Losing money, what, the coal industry? I suppose that's why they want to open the pits up again now, eh? It cost us Billions to close them. Everything this horrible, rightwing bag of piss did was driven by hatred of anything that wasn't profit driven, wrecked British industry because she detested our unions and millions on the dole wasa surefire way to weaken them. Sold off the council housing without replacing it, and we're still subsidising that to this day. Halfkilled our NHS etc etc

  • @bolloxinator

Sorry for being a twat earlier, but I respectfully disagree, the coal industry was NOT making money, it was subsidised only some mines were makin money... Havign studied economics for only a year I can tell you that keeping unprofitable industries liek that open is a terrible choice, the first thing that shud have happened is to close them so resources (such as labour and capital can be emloyed somewhere else), and as for the unions, I've never haerd even thatcher haters

  • @bolloxinator

say much about that. You do realize what a state the country was when thatcher took over right? She had to make people have less money soley due to unions constantly striking (winter of discontent) or if some miner fell asleep and was fired the whole plant wud strike, the constant pay rises made inflation g up to 26.3%!!! (highest its been since WW1) When target is 2%, that unemployment may have saved the country (wen ppl r worseof inflation decreases btw), which it did decreas

  • @bolloxinator

also toe unions were driving off all forgein investors no-one wud go near us we were declining as a superpower

Your correct as she made soem bad decisons, but she took charge of a country which was really gon to hit, and saved us obviously there were goin to be drastic changes made!

  • @403766 That's the Daily Mail's line, which is total codshit. The unions were fighting back. She became enough of an embarrassment to her own party that they sacked her before the electorate could, why did they do that, do you think? She cost this country very dearly. She smashed all our industries and wrecked entire towns beyond repair, flogging anything good for a fast buck for her cronies. The only winners were the scumbags benefitting again: bankers and parasites in suits.Damn her to hell.

  • @freddo27 Obviously you are a socialist.

  • @rustylad100 Obviously you are a Tory. Tories have the proud distinction to have opposed every social advance of the past century, from votes for everyone, not just landowners, through to the NHS, Social Security, affordable rented housing for working people, legal aid, universal education, the list is endless. There you've been, opposing it and when you've lost the argument, you devote your time to wrecking what's been established so that those with too much can have more. Good on you.

  • @freddo27 Yes I am a Tory, and the reason I am a Tory is because Socialism never ever works, just like in Africa, china, Russia, Korea, all those Socialist country's are crippled with a history of being run by socialist dictators. Socialism is almost unheard of in America. Americans would never have a socialist government and so stands the reason why america is so successful.

  • @rustylad100 If you call those countries 'Socialist' you have no concept at all of what Socialism is. They are state capitalist tyrannies. America's so successful it's in trillions of dollars of debt, caused by having to bail out and artificially prop up the system you love so much.

    Outstanding.

  • @freddo27 Those countries are socialist, its as simple as that, which are as you say tyrannies. Its just in this country we have a very mild form of socialism when Labour are in office, by buying their way in with handouts. And they always leave office with the country at the bottom of an abyss like in 1979 and like now. Australia is mainly conservative, very successful country. I cant think of any successful socialist countries??? That's because they don't exist

  • @rustylad100 I am at a loss as to how you can describe America as successful?? Successful to who? The rich? The class divides in America could be said to be even more prominent than the divides in Britain - such poverty should NEVER exist in the first place, never mind in some of the richest countries in the world.

  • @HeatherLouise25 Ah yes you are some-one who hates the rich because they are rich. Your comments do sound very Socialist, and im afraid socialism never ever works as proven throughout the world. You are basically saying a man should not be rich if there are less well off people in the world, very socialist.

  • @rustylad100 You say socialist like it's a dirty word? I don't hate the rich, I hate inequality.

  • @403766 Finally, someone who can look at the situation with a pair of eyes and not through socialist vision.

  • @bolloxinator If all this is so, why do we still pursue her policies today?

Truth is that featherbedding policies and socialism did far more damage to British industry than 10 years of Maggie, who's policies saw our share of world trade increase for the first time in 100 years...

  • @tdp1909 Yeh, working well, isn't it? Why indeed. Trillions of dollars in debt, arms manufacturers and bankers wringing their greedy hands together with delight whilst the streets of London burn again. Yep, works well.

  • @London2272 As far as I recall, it was the last Labour government that drove us so heavily into debt and it was where they deviated from Thatcherite prudence that they went wrong.

Regarding bankers, wasn't it Brown who was again the genius behind our banking crisis.

And the riots can be attributed to a culture of giving benefits to people for nothing - the so-called 'client state'. Only trouble is, when you run out of money - see point one.

  • Thatcher was a complex character, so it's rather crass and facile to say she was motivated by sheer vindictiveness, but she was certainly a cunt and a hypocrite.

  • Didn't see anything alarming in those comments

  • @elanxx It's ok, turn your TV back on and forget it all.

  • there's nothing bad with simply liking your country. nationalism is terrible, but there's nothing bad with being proud.

  • die you BITCH die!!!!!!

  • Margaret should have been strangled at birth! It would have kept the United Kingdom from an era of social injustice and poverty.

  • Well, from what ive studied, Thatchers, like reagan's positive approach to her nation, was really needed in Britain at that time. They were demoralized and they needed somthig to be proud of. She gave them hope and pride in their country, as Reagan inspred pride in his, after the disaster of poor Jimmy Carter. Regardless of ideology, they really inspired a badly needed sense of pride in their countries.

  • Why Isn't her arsehole son sweating in an African jail , like the others that planned the coup ? Instead he's made a Lord ???????????????? I hope she has a painfull death like the people she sent into a war , just to win another term in office !

  • BP ] is a British-based global energy company which is the third largest energy company and the fourth largest company in the world. A multinational oil company ("oil major"), BP is the United Kingdom's largest corporation, with its head office in St James's, City of Westminster, London. MrMorgansgoat you are an idiot

  • Old bicht lier! BP LIER. They are destroying the world. BIG LIERS THE GOVERMENT OF England is a big LIER.

BP TOOK USA AS STUPIDS!! NOW USA KNOW WHO THEY ARE. They are a big liers

  • @romeas100 BP isnt actually british dumbass , its just a name .

  • lol this song was from ffx

  • @jonathanbain14 thats true, what a mix with Maggie Thatcher.

  • @JimmyThatcher yeah she was such a nazi, and if that song is by rammstein, well u know where im going with this... lol

  • @jonathanbain14 She was a Nazi? Please say there is some sarcasm I have failed to pick up on here? The definition on Nazism is national socialism which means massive nataionalisation of businesses something Margaret Thatcher did the complete opposite to.

  • @JONATHANJARRETT95 don't dare try to condescend as if you are going to be the one to teach me political studies. I am well aware of what "national socialism" is in concept. I was referring to her social policies not economic. She was a closed minded apartheid supporting, gurka hating, u.s. satellite promoting demolisher of absolutely everything and i repeat ABSOLUTELY everything Britain had to be proud of. She transformed our industry into a bunch of service industry burger flipping no-brains.

  • @jonathanbain14 She destroyed them did she? If you consider your self a political know it all then surely you can demonstrate this by telling me about the levels of input and output of the mines during the 70s? Surely you will know then, that input was higher than output. More money was being spent on the mines that what britain was getting out of it. The unions completely priced themselves out of the market, they destroyed the industry. Neil Kinnock, agrees that the unions crippled this country

  • @JONATHANJARRETT95 Even I agree that the unions became a bit too powerful but it isn't simply about mines not producing a profit, during the beeching axes, those closed railway stations weren't producing a profit were they? Most were still needed. Property owning democracy? Could you tell me one point in this nation's history when we were not allowed to own property? I am not a communist. However, if you are referring to her rather careless move on giving people the right to buy their own

  • Council house then look around and what do you see, prices too steep for first time buyers to get on the ladder and a shortage of good quality housing everywhere.

  • @jonathanbain14 Yes, I think I am better than you, because, as most of this page would agree, you sir, are an unwelcome tory bastard and it is people like you mr Jarret, who limit our species advancement by separation. You would rather have the human race fighting against each other than grouping together to achieve amazing things EG NHS. Have a nice day =)

  • @jonathanbain14 And it's people like you who think far too much of themselves. Who was it who gave the women the right to vote? Who was it who fought of fascism? Oh that's right the torys, labour even voted against continuing with the war in 1942, shows where there pride is. Who was it who created 300000 new homes each year between 1958 an 1963? Who was it who curbed the power of the unions? Who was it who introduced the argument of climate change? And who is it who is cleaning up labour's mess?

  • @jonathanbain14 A little too powerful? They had the power to stop the country and destroy governments! The right to buy scheme wasn't bad, it was because there was a lack of houses to match demand, and i agree that was a mistake, but if you look at labour's record, they have made a embarrassingly amount of mistakes.

  • @JONATHANJARRETT95 If they'd built more houses with the fast buck they made from flogging off council housing, instead of stuffing it into the bloated pockets of their parasitic city chums, the idea might have been acceptable. All the services they flogged off meant for us was lost jobs, more profits for the rich, and massive council tax bills for us to this day, as we now pay shareholders and directors instead of running costs. She destroyed British industry and British sense of community. Slag

  • @London2272 Be fair - she destroyed tons of other stuff as well and when she finally dies there'll be massive parties.

  • @London2272 British Industry was dissolving anyway, it was overmanned, the union leader Arthur Scargill wanted workers to be paid for digging dirt when minerals were quickly running out! The Unions caused the 3 day week! Because of some of the strikes - gravediggers refused to go back to work in merseyside until they got their pay! The council was considering dumping the bodies in the Irish Sea! Because of militant trade unionists like scargill the industry collapsed quicker!

  • ....and labour did so much to fix all that....

  • @JONATHANJARRETT95 if you really are such a moron as to believe all the utter shit that those tyranical aristocrats inject into you via Rupert Murdoch then you are a typical example of the zombie generation that she and her arse licking suck ups (cough* David cough* Cameron) who are completely ignorant of the needs of our citizens, have helped to create. Now go and get your nose off this computer screen and into those books child. No wonder Eton College is producing idiots for P.M.s these days.

  • @jonathanbain14 Really? And you're the epitome of unwanted arrogance. Tyranical aristocrats? Who is the moron who can't spell tyrannical? You. Apparently you need to get your nose of the computer and learn how to spell! Utter shit? What, a property owning democracy is utter shit? The common market is utter shit? Increasing the pay for everybody through capitalist prosperity is utter shit? Don't talk as though you're better than me, it's just unneeded input.

  • crazy bitch.

  • When Maggy Thatcher keeps repeating "OWN" at 1:10 it sounds like she is trying to swallow a hard boiled egg and nearly chokes on it.

  • I know everyone hates the Tories. We know how bad it was under them. Grudgingly we know that the labour party has done us massive good, just look at the NHS how well despite what might be said it is run, compared to the Tory years. But we can not forgive the Labour war crime let alone the smaller scandels. What I do not get is why we do not vote for the Lib Dems on mass we know they are good for us, the BNP are not the only alternative.

  • @kjax2008

You know everyone hates the tories?

Interesting...the election results would say otherwise.

    Gutted.

  • @Kozzy06 everyone does hate the tories, you know quite well enough that most idiots that voted mr cameron into power were the result of this womans "dumbing down" work that she did so marvelously and making the bulk of us work in call centres. these morons dont know politics they just vote the guy with the best smile.

  • @kjax2008 It was the Toriess who fought off facism it was the Tories in the 60s who created 300,000 new homes. It was Labour that caused massive inflation in the 70s that crippled many families. But it was the Tories under Margaret Thatcher who reduced inflation by 15% and set the foundations to continue to reduce inflation. It was the Tories who have cleaned up after Labour over history by making unpopular decisions, but the right ones.

  • Murderer of 900 Argentinian boys.

  • @darioso5 the argentinians shouldn't of invaded a place that didn't belong to them, it wasn't murder.. it was self defense.

  • @darioso5 it was a brilliant murder.

  • "Patriotism is your conviction that this country is superior to all others because you were born in it." - George Bernard Shaw

  • we should give her the fate of the miners, make her live in poverty for a few years and then break her head with a police baton

  • @lewismurray1

I honestly don't think it's Maggie's fault that coalmining isn't really a business for the future... so to speak. WHO would have been able to make those mines profitable?

  • Doesn't the national interest come before frofit? By the national interest i mean being self-sufficient with energy and not relying on hostile foreign powers.

  • Opening it up to private market does not mean giving it to foreign powers unless ur talking about selling all our energy concerns to germany n thats more of a EU policy that thatcher would be against.

If i have a company that doesnt make profit would u fund me outta ur own pocket to stay in bussiness?

Dont forget its us THE PEOPLE that run the free market. No demand, then no supply.

  • So you would be happy to have most of our gas supply comming from Russia even though that means they could threaten to turn it of any time they wanted as they have already done with other countries?

The train companies couldn't operate without government subsidies, so would you allow the railways to close down as the mines were allowed to close?

  • Nuclear is the clean way forward. And yes thats when u need a strong prime minister with faith in the market and the people. Let the trains close if they dont make a profit and see what innovative, antropanuer wld step forward see the obvious incentives n run a travel system by, train, plane, or carriage that actually delivers good travel, travel cost and profit. Thats what we send people to school for. Politicians always make the wrong choice, put the price up, or both.

  • Is it in the national interest to increase the price of fuel substantially to cover the cost of the lossmaking industries, and then increase taxes to save the companies involved because they're nationalised?

  • Sometimes, yes. You can't leave everything to the free market, as i pointed out we would have no rail network if we took away their subsidies and allowed them to sink or swim.

  • @Gummimasker Power Station that run on coal MORON! That women has ruined Britain, sold off all the industry that brought money in2 Britain, to create a temporary solution, but wht happens when the money she made by selling things like mining, ship making, train making ect run out? We're left with nothin n thats wer we hav found ourselves 2day!

  • If I had a business that opperated at a loss would u fund me out of ur personal money so i could keep going in business?

  • @libertariannews if your buisness was depended on for the welfare of the state then yes.

  • death to margerat thatcher! i spit every time someone says her name. put people out of jobs, she doesnt know what us people want she only knows money and her own selfishness

  • Nice to know Thatcher was an English Pan-nationalist. Good to export one's racialism.

  • we'd probably be better of with the snow at the moment if she hadn't privatised the power industry.

labour should have done something about that.

  • What is needed is an energy policy that is mixed but which leans towards conservation and renewable alternatives. Systems of energy storage need to be developed.

New Labour are never going to see the national need to make as much of what we need ourselves and to have our own energy industry that does not rely on "Johnny foreigner"

  • your a fucking idiot if you think shes similar to the BNP, they are socialist for one, where as she was free market and pro freedom to the last!

  • how are the BNP socialist,

far right- fascist (looking after one set of people and fuck the rest)

  • they want to nationalise pretty much everything. thats socialism. all socialism means is the government taking over. making everyone equal by making everyone poor, thats socialism. the BNP are accuratly described as national socialist cos they are nationalist and socialist. socialism doesn't mean what you think it does. it stands for dictatroship and misery, not freedom.

  • Ownership of the means of production in Socialism does not mean the Government owning but the people owning such as through Co-ops and such like. Anyhow the most interesting thing about Capitalism is how they are making the whole World look the same. LoL

  • BNP follow the model of National Socialism. Which is no different from National Communism. Its just another class system like Royalty. The Benefits go to those in the establishment.

  • oh and your daughter peed beside her bed in celeb in the jungle ,she was brought up well lol annoying woman , when she dies and goes to heaven or hell she will close them ,this is a joke she wa s a nasty woman ,

  • D Nazis calld demselvs National Socialists. As long as u were German & knuckld down 2D system dey wood generaly reward u. People 4get dat d Nazis murderd 500,000+ national Germans. U should chek out d White Rose movement.

After d elections in d early 1930s d Nazis chekd d votng papers (Numberd & ascribd 2a particular voter) & culd c who votd 4 who. Dis ment dey were able 2 target dare opponents wen roundng dem up.

Dats Y 2day German votng paprs have no numbrs on dem so d votr can b identified.

  • i studied weimar republic and nazi germany at a level.

which isn;t exactly impressive but i know alot about it.

  • There is no such thing as Free Markets and never has been. Do you want Free Market Armed Forces. No. Free Market Police Force. No. Free Market in goods means the rich robbing the poor of their labour so they can live in luxury while others starve. The bankers must love ignorant people like you.

  • then why does the middle class in america and brittain live a higher quality life than in countries under socialist policies??

  • It is interesting you use the word "quality" to describe what actually does not qualify as quality. If such a lifestyle is only possible through the rape of global resources then when those resources dwindle (Malthus) so will the quality of life.

The World is sitting on the edge of calamity and you define the road to that calamity as quality. Odd is what I think. You should be digging your bunker for the day it all goes belly up for most of Mankind.

  • Thing is, you judge quality of life based on material inequality. Go to Cuba and see how little they have, but realise how happy they are!

  • i have actually spent a large part of my life living in latin america, and although they often talk about the "imperialist american government" (even though it would be in our best interest if the countries of latin america would prosper and enter the world market), they just as often lament the widespread poverty present in all of latin america. i recently watched a documentary about cubathat studied the many people who risk their lives trying to cross over to florida from cuba on inner tubes

  • The whole point about totalitarians is no matter what their starting ideologies they all end being the same in effect. Thus Stalin and Hitler can be seen as the same thing. Stalin became a form of State Capitalism where as Hitler grew out of social Capitalism. The BNP are basically the same.

There is no such thing as a free market. A free market is an unregulated market. There are no such markets in existence if you exclude the illegal criminal trade and particularly in Drugs.

  • Thatcher was awesome eh?

    Don't think so some how.

  • I wish, just wish, we had a real labour government, but since Blair it has only been another version of conservatism, some do anything for votes, and yes snouts in the trough is a good definition. I regard Thatcher as a traitor to the UK and Blair as a war criminal. Having said all that, the BNP are no alternative, not at all, no way, no no no.

  • Thatcher ftw, she was awesome!

  • The problem is that the BNP are being left to garner the votes that the three main parties are ignoring and particularly in Labour Heartlands. I agree we need Real Labour to stand up but the problem is New Labour sold out 17 years ago just to get power and forgot the suffering of the poor.

  • infideltv - and that basically sums it up unfortunately. There id the SWP but of course they are and will remain a fringe party. Why is it though, that if you come across the BNP supporters here on YT, they are uniformly foul mouthed lying racist and stupid. The BNP is grooming disaffected youth, no doubt.

  • The problem in this country is the voting system. If there was a proper proportional system then their would be a realignment of British politics. This would mean smaller parties would get some representation. It would also mean the propbable breakup of the two major monolithic parties in the Labour and Conservative.

The irony is that the left of the Conservative Party is matched by the right of the Labour Party.

Anyhow, proportionality is the only just electoral system.

  • I detest the Labour government. Just terrible. Can't wait for them to be wiped out. But I don't want a return to the Thatcher years. I don't want to see those disgusting Tory politicians we had in the 80's. They were no better than the Labour pigs we have now. With their snouts in the trough. Some believe Thatcher did good for this country. Well she did stand up to the Marxist unions that's true, but she sold us out to Europe in the end. No, we need a better type of politics in the UK. Help!

  • She was a revolting little woman.

  • Get rid of the Swastika from this video, it's a disgrace. Thatcher made Britain great again, and her values need re-asserting once again - freedom, democracy, less State involvement in our lives, lower taxes, careful Govt spending, etc etc.

  • "and all the solutions have come from the English-speaking nations accross the world [...]"

Jesus Christ! Stop giving us sollutions! Please!!!! Just Stop!!!! You definetely suck in playing the Justice League!

  • I wish someone would repost this without the swastika bullshit. These are words from wisdom from a true leader.

  • say what you like about her, the woman had guts, unlike the spineles wimp we have now.

His first PMQs 'I've only been in this job for 3 days - pathetic. Not even Ted Heath tried that one and he was a bit of an old woman. (sorry, that's insulting to old women isn't it)

  • People would love someone like this to be back in power. The maker of this film is one of these liberal do gooders. I agree with everything she said. its fact. Mainland europe would be speaking german if it wasn't for us.

  • and the Americans and the Soviet Union. No offence but Britain did little apart from North Africa, which had the writing on the wall from the start.

  • Britain and her empire was the only nation to stand up to hitler during the war when the nazis raped the whole of europe in a fortnight. It wasn't till 1943 when american troops arrived in england. We were fighting the japanese germans italians vishy french etc all on our own with no help from anyone. The Irish even refueled u boats in there ports. The English language is the international language of the world something to be very proud of.

  • Good point, but you're mistaken about Ireland refuelling U-boats. In point of fact, the Free State gave tacit support to the allied cause by returning interned allied airmen, while keeping German airmen til the end of the war. If you knew the first thing about what's involved in refuelling a submarine, you'd know the claim about refuelling was nonsense...must more anti-Irish paranoia from England I guess.

  • @steve1mufc The french were on our side you fool. Never heard of the allies and the axis?

  • @steve1mufc

First. Only nation? The Soviet Union was the only nation to stand up to Germany directly. Britain resisted in the battle of britain and that was it. 80-90% of german casualties in the war were on the eastern front. As for the americans, they helped throughout the war by supplying britain with arms, ammunition, fuel and etc., they fought Japan without much support from the UK.

The glory days of England are gone, its merely a client state to the United States now.

  • @darklord747

Indeed @steve1mucfc... get over your post imperialist inferiority complex.

  • Comment removed

  • @steve1mufc

Also, if you stop for a minute to critically analyze why the english language has spread across the globe, you might not feel so 'proud'. With the spread of the english language also came cultural genocide, ethnic cleansing and theft of natural resources leaving many nations and peoples with nothing. No identity, no land, no connection to history, no language and often no community or family.

  • @PepperPhD Why mention only bad points, and fail to mention the good? How about the incredible economic prosperity that has been spread to otherwise struggling countries? How about the introduction of property rights to otherwise backwards people? How many innocents have been spared an agonizing death by modern advancements in medicine? How many millions (billions?) have seen their lot improved? You're taking quite a lot for granted.

Go beyond counting the misses, and ignoring the hits.

  • @steve1mufc stop talking bollox

  • I believe from your comment you are talking about the second world war, I would just like to point some stuff out.

On D Day we took two beches along with the yanks who took two (and the canadians who took one). We single-handedly won the battle of Britain, as you said North Africa, Burma, The Battle of the Atlantic and those are the only ones that come to mind!!!!!

  • Why, when she hated the BNP's predecessor, the National Front (calling it a 'Socialist Front'). Nick Griffin and his party clearly hate her too, judging by their criticisms of free-market capitalism and everything else Thatcher stood for.

  • it was sort of a joke, but she does say all the good in the world came from english speakers. and seemed to lump english speaking people in as one race. race is a stupid concept as we now know it, and to make it on grounds of language is stupid. sounds a little like the BNP though with there anti immigration views and such.

  • Agreed.

  • Agreed.

  • She's awesome. I wish more politicians and leaders had her spine and weren't afraid to tell it like it is.

  • When Maggie "fartface" Thatcher was shafted at the end of her tyranny, the world could sigh some relief! She was shafted by her own party because they finally realised what her true colours were! Black, Grey & Black again! There was no blue or green or red or yellow! No rainbow! It was like the Nothing-Nothing in The Never-Ending Story coming to wreak havoc over Britain & Earth, just like it did for Fantasia! Do you remember that movie in 83? The analogies with her tyrannical rule are striking!

  • Do you actually know what brought her down? Obviously not.

  • One of the most rewarding things I remember of the 80's and ninties is seeing maggie shafted in the back on live TV by her own party. What a fitting end to her career.

  • God, we could do with her in charge now.

  • Yes, it would be amazing to have no health service and the rich getting taxed less.

  • yes, it would! First, you do not get tax from the rich, they can and do avoid it legally. Second, it's their money and if you ask nicely they mind invest it in british companies and services. Third, Thatcher did not remove the NHS. Also, the arguments against a universal health service are a lot stronger than people give creedence to.

  • Rotten toothed nutjob.

When's that fuckhead son of her's going to be brought to justice?

    Oh silly me!

    That'll be never then.

  • What a great lady. Definitely on of the greatest leaders of the last century. You've got to love the "Iron Lady".

  • No I don't

  • I don't. A harridan who reigned over the most awful government of the second half of the 20th century! Her evil legacy persists and not only in the Tory party.
