@funguy7979 I agree, toyota should bring the "supra" back in the 5.7 liter form....maybe with that factory supercharger for it....like the tundra....but lose 2000 lbs...hahaha. That would be sick, close to 600 hp, that would blow away all the american stuff except maybe the vette and viper. but who knows if they built it right it could "decimate all" hahaha.

@jewmim I have given serious serious thought to dropping in a 5.7liter tundra motor into a supra and even supercharging or turbo that shit. Serious serious thought. Even to put the 5.7 into the post 2000 lexus SC430's with a manual transmission. Then that lil luxury car will really move.

the 00 celica gts can stock pistons can hold about 270whp and the stock rods are good for up to 350whp no more than that

oh... I see I was trying to figure out how you were cranking out that much HP. Yeah.. the more info is always good to check with. Obviously you couldnt be running this on stock compression. itd be suicide for your engine. I already have an 01 GT, but its auto.. so I wont be turboing it. But I guess if you've built this engine ground up installing a turbo in the lack of space wouldnt be as hard.

@theatrain714 You live near Element Racing? I also have a Celica, 2000 GT-S that I had a full build and a T3-T4 turbo setup installed on. Turbolab did that though! Its since had problems, but it was a blast. Really woke up the 2zz!

@a0987312245 Upwards of about 7k for the kit, if you want to play with the big boys you will need sleeves, PFC, rods, studs, Low comp pistons, cams, etc... That will be close to 10k installed. (I sleeve blocks all the time and its NOT cheap.)

To everyone that thinks my car is running on the stock compression of 11.5-1, you are wrong. It has 9.0-1 compression piston in this build. If i was boosting on the stock compression, it would lean out and blow up.

It is 350 Horsepower to the wheels. Big turbo + good tune = lots of horsepower. pretty simple

celica gts from 2000 to 2003 is 180 @ 91 octane, and 188 @ 93 octane. but the 2zz-GE stock compression is 11.5:1
