Gen 4 Vipers are being discontinued. In 2010, there will only be 500 Vipers built, then in 2011 will be a skipped year much like 2007. In 2012, there's supposed to be another Dodge sports car. Dodge has not announced if it will be a Gen 5 Viper or an entirely new car.

im pretty sure the GT2 Edo, w/e that is, is not a mass produced vehicle. anyone can take any car and make it the fastest on w/e they wish it to be if they have the knowlede and the right tools. and the ACR is also a mass produced vehicle.

I say you are obviously looking at different tests than I am. Every place that Ive checked shows better gas mileage for the Viper. Not that it really matters...

it all depends on the driver thats why its estimated and the m5 has 2 more doors bigger trunk which by all means more weight to lug around

yea there are around 4 or 5 i think. but considering a viper is a more mass produced vehicle makes it so much more special than a gumpert, or the radical cars. gumpert and the radicals are barely street legal if street legal at all. but lets get back on the subject of THIS race here. its between a 911 turbo and a viper, in terms of track times, the 911 turbo is more than 10-14 seconds behind the viper in terms of N-ring lap times.

Anti Viper crowd are simply in denial. The cars are fuckin fast. They are fast in drag races, they are fast on circuts, they brake amazingly well, handle well etc. They are bullet proof reliable and price wise a realitive fuckin bargin. Dont like the looks...fine dont like dodges fine, but making shit up to try and bag on the car is simply sad! If you have to make shit up just dont comment??

You cant compare a Viper and a Porsche.
Try to beat a BMW M5 engine (5,0L V10) .
Viper gets own old school engine technology doesnt work good.

yeaa...old school engine technology cant work well. it would be impossible for the acr to be the one of the fastest cars to drive around the nring, its impossible for it to beat a veryon in a race to 200. ur right oldschool engine technology sucks

yes i know, but the comment was trying to defend the porsche saying it had all the disadvantages possible and the viper only beat it at top end. AND porsches do not come with 600 hp which is ALOT for a car as light as that
