  • I think 6325 is the only operable gtw steam train

  • @jedi725 Thats not true, there are other ones that were sold to Canadian National and are running under that livery.

  • Will Jerry ever run public excursions again with steam because just having them sit there in a roundhouse cold is a real shame. Did the OC tourist train essentially go out of business? Was it because of the stupid liability and insurance issues? That train looked like one big railfan excursion, kind of like trips with NKP #765, Reading 2102, etc. I wish there were more of those type of excursions around. Reading and Northern in PA runs the 425, and Norfolk Southern is bringing back steam in 2011

  • @rwk360 until they bring back 1218 and 611 NS can't say their bringing back the steam program.

  • Holy shit that's one gorgeous locomotive.

  • oh i did not know.

  • wow i really would love to see that ....does that locomotive still run there?

  • Last I heard the 6325 was not operational and currently under going major bearing repair/replacement.

  • where can i find this dvd, it's not in schraders railroad catalog or historic rail catalog

  • I have this on DVD. What a very impressive steam lovomotive 6325 is.

    Lovley whistle.

  • Ohio Central was sold to Genesee & Wyoming, with the company take over Jan 1, 2009. 6325 and several other engines were retained by former OC owner Jerry Jacobson.

Supposedly he is going to build a roundhouse near Sugar Creek, Oh, and will be permitted to operate them sometimes. 6325 has not operarated since 2004, as it needs to have an axel bearing replaced.

  • does the ohio central, and the 6325 still operate?
