@TheAad91 it's only a 1/16" bigger than a .44 There's only 2 50 cal handguns, the Desert Eagle and recently the revolver companies started making revolvers that shoot them. That's why the bullets are $2 a piece.
Desert Eagle is available in .50AE. The .50 AE is different to the .50 cal round used by the browning machine gun (by some margin), much as the .22 used in plink pistols is different to the .223 used in assault rifles (5.56mm nato). One is a short pistol round, the other a longer and more powerful rifle round.
Incidentally, someone has made a single shot pistol that fires a .50 cal GMG round but that is just a bit mad.

LOL, this isn't a 50. Caliber. It's a Colt 45. ACP. Look at the barrel hole in the weapon, there's no way it's a 50. Caliber are shell casings are about 4-5 inches in length, and the bullet is about and inch in-a-half. The loading breach isn't big enough to fit in a 50. Caliber casing and would actually blow the gun up if put in and fired. I know this because I am a gun dealer.

LOL, this isn't a 50. Caliber. It's a Colt 45. ACP. Look at the barrel hole in the weapon, there's no way it's a 50. Caliber are shell casings are about 4-5 inches in length, and the bullet is about and inch in-a-half. The loading breach isn't big enough to fit in a 50. Caliber casing and would actually blow the gun up if put in and fired. I know this because I am a gun dealer.
