Do people know what an embryo is? It doesn't necessarily have eye balls and a spinal chord. It is anywhere from the time the zygote begins to divide until weeks after zygote formation. I have no problem with people using cells at the 4 and 8 cell stage. It is just cells and chemical signaling with no ability to feel or think. This ad is very vague. It keeps saying "stem-cell research", however there are different types of stem-cell research. This ad does not specify whether they mean embryonic or adult stem-cells.

This ad is very vague. It keeps saying "stem-cell research", however there are different types of stem-cell research. This ad does not specify whether they mean embryonic or adult stem-cells.
John McCain has said he supports the use of human embryos for stem cell research, which I am not ok with. Palin, however, says she supports using adult stem-cells and skin cells which is fine with me. My question is what kind of stem-cell research are they referring to in this ad?

But eww, NIH funding? The NIH hasn't gotten s**t done with stem cell research after millions of dollars in funding... Private research is really where it gets done, way too much red tape with the NIH, along with them being too conservative so far, refusing to research much else other than adult stem cells, for ethical reasons...
