@ktwei i highly doubt the engine is built to withstand only 520bhp, manufacturers design engines in ferraris and lambos etc. to withstand alot more bhp and torque than they will ever produce stock to increase durability and reduce wear, the corvette's ls2 V8 was designed to withstand up to 1500bhp but stock they only produce just over 600.

that 8.9 second run belongs to the AMS's shop car, its faaaar more modified from street versions that customers recieve. It runs slicks not street tires. So don't expect customer Alpha 12 cars to run the same times.

UGR on the other hand:

Fastest 60-130mph (3.04sec) was a customer Superleggera stage 3 on full tilt/C16

250mph Mile record was a customer Superleggera running over 2000hp crank

9.1 quarter @ 177mph on R888 street tires (Nera)... never ran slicks.

KC has been building these cars for YEARS and has a track record longer then shops that have been in business alot longer. his craftsmenship and attention to detail is second to none and you def get what you pay for with one of his cars.
