u can talk about language and culture for hours but the fact is that in mumbai thousands of people come to work not to learn language and culture but bcos of work same as they go to bangalore or any other metro city, i agree more in mumbai. dont forget the biggest threat to marathi language in english more than hindi bcos our next generation will be talking in english forgetting hindi or marathi.
