I think that a company should try and bring Kamen Rider over to the west, but a lot better then Saban's "Masked Rider" with correct story's so it almost matches perfect with Kamen Rider starting from Kuuga just so we can have Decade and continue on to W and then OOO etc.

Is there any reason for Kabuto to keep the armor after henshin? They always removed it in Decade.

@atjnAdfhhjea The armor is before he hits the cast off. To cast off he opens the zector up and then he's in his rider form.

@atjnAdfhhjea It's just the first step after henshin. I'm guessing his final step is cast off. I haven't gotten too deep into the series yet.

@atjnAdfhhjea Well kabuto was based off a beetle (rhinoceros beetle) and goes through the life cycle of it. The armor represents the pupa stage of the beetle's life. They probably removed it in Decade because Decade doesn't have the zecter to flip the horn. At least that's how I think of it.

@sharingan510 Uh, in Decade, Kabuto still had the armor. What I was asking was does the armor serve a function, or is it merely adding to the process of transforming. Since I haven't seen Kabuto, I was wondering if it gave defense at the cost of speed or something like that, or if it only existed to be cast off.

@atjnAdfhhjea Actually, yes. A Rider with the heavy-armored form (what is called the 'Masked Form') usually goes to Cast Off right after transforming, but can return to Masked Form by using 'Put On'.
