I tried to install a graphic touch-up mod for Minecraft once, had to re-download the game after completely wrecking it. I'm a member of the modless console version society and until 2011 had a 7-old computer that ran perfectly despite costing 60 bucks but didn't run any quality games so I haven't had any experience with modding, I'm ashamed to be typing this actually. So my question is are there people outside of craigslist I can pay to install mods for me?
Hey, Gopher. This is PyroJesus, the guy who made the Eastwood mod; a friend of mine pointed this video out to me, and I just wanted to tell you how flattered I am by the publicity you're giving to the mod, as well as all the kind words. Thanks so much :)
Also, I just want to say - The armour's DT actually -is- a reference to A Fistful of Dollars, where he has the metal plate under his poncho. I wasn't expecting anyone to actually pick up on it, but I'm glad you did!
Okay, for some reason I seem to have a problem with the Armored Bounty Hunter Duster. The .esp file causes the launcher and the game to CTD. Uncheck it and there's no problem. The Black version does not have this problem. I'm using most the mods from your videos plus a few extras that I like but nothing that should conflict or cause any issues with this.
@Browncoat1984 Update: I just discovered that if I unchecked my merged patch.esp file but keep everything else checked there is no problem. So I'll try re-creating the merged patch without the armored duster (I generally leave all my mods checked for the merged patch) and see if that still works.
I just wanted to say thank you very much. I always got a little nervous when installing too many mods and normally made a few mistakes, but with this tutorial not only do I understand what I'm doing more, I'm able to install all of these mods without worrying that I won't be able to undo them if I want. Thank you again.
I don't know if you've considered this or not, but I highly recommend you download the mod called ADAM - A Definitive Armor Mod, because since your favorite armors are those Ranger-style armors this mod makes them look absolutely amazing, and it makes them alot more like the cover art. I'm not trying to say you absolutely have to get it, I just highly recommend it if you think the vanilla meshes and textures for the were lacking a bit. Sorry if this sounds/looks like I'm spamming.
Can someone tell me why I near enough get a CTD when I get a critical hit on an enemy. I have all the mods from Modding Fallout NV and some from here.
you forgot to holster your weapon to finish the tune! you need to do it in your next vid its so epic and also was it just coincidental when you said you wanted the spurs to jingle the lyrics "cos i got spurs that jingle jangle jingle" great vid btw
Love your videos. When you're finished with this series of Mod Clinics you should do a series for Fallout 3 followed by Oblivion. Also, do you plan on covering quest mods or house mods at some point? There's some pretty good ones out there that are as good if not better than the official DLC.
@Browncoat1984 I would love to do some FO3 ones, but I have Skyrim preordered, and will be doing videos for that AND making a few mods probably. I think I am going to be rushed off my feet :)
@GophersVids I'm on the fence in regards to pre-ordering Skyrim. I was just burned with Rage, not because it was a bad game but because of launch issues and Bethesda games are notorious for being buggy at launch. Also: re Skyrim mods - keep in mind that it'll likely be a few months at least before we'll need a video series for modding so that should give you plenty of time for doing an FO3 series :D
If you manually reholster the clint eastwood guns it plays a different sound effect heh. I had to change the stats and DT on the manwithnoname outfit to the be the same as a basic bounty hunter duster, was too overpowered.
You should mention that the armored dusters come with Project Nevada. The basic armored duster can be bought from Vendortron. The black version, called the Death Walker Duster, is found on the mercenary assaulting Jacobstown.
Hay man ! I just want to say that you're doing a lot of great job here.... Your videos about Fallout New Vegas are simply awesome ;) From this part I installed the "I Got Spurs" mod and Clint Eastwood Pack. Both of them are quite nice !
Only bad thing is that I don't exactly know why the Fake Fullscreen mod does not work....
The armoured duster is included in Project Nevada is it not? I like your armour choices i just wish there was more of it, seems all the armour mods are 'ghost' armour or tactical tactical tactical etc (then there's the kiddy outfits, don't get me started on those!)
How do you rotate your camara too look at your self

Do you know how to install body mods like Breezes and Roberts and if so, do you know how to make them work with your animation replacer?
