I told you that homosexuals can already have what is called a civil union, which is the state-recognized equivalent to a marriage contract. "Marriage" is generally attributed to religion (because the service is performed within a church of some kind). I don't claim to be an expert, but I do know that homosexuals CAN get a civil union, which is identical in all rights. The only difference is in title, which is a silly thing to complain about.

If you're to ask the gay community if it's silly to complain about the title of the document you'd get a response like "There's nothing like marriage except marriage" or "I'm not going to ask him to get 'civil unioned' with me". Also, it's still discriminating. If it's silly to argue about a title, then why not make it the same for everyone. Go ask some people in the gay community how they feel about this.
If that is the case, why do they state that they have less "rights" then anyone else? They call it a gay rights movement, but it's not a rights movement at all. It's a social movement. However, I do see your point in regards to the marriage not necessarily equaling a civil union, at least in the social aspect. But if a church does not want to marry a homosexual couple due to their beliefs, they should never be forced to by the state. That is what I've been trying to say.

But to the state they should get the same exact contract as straight couples. Because the state is secular and should not have objections to gay marriage. Especially given the separation of religion and state. I hope we can agree on that.

The gay marriage issue is totally different. They should be allowed to be married, sure, but if a church does not want to marry them as per their beliefs, they should NEVER be forced to. Church and state should never mix. Standing up against religion? Their is nothing to stand up against. I told you that homosexuals can already have what is called a civil union, which is the state-recognized equivalent to a marriage contract. "Marriage" is generally attributed to religion (because the service is performed within a church of some kind). I don't claim to be an expert, but I do know that homosexuals CAN get a civil union, which is identical in all rights. The only difference is in title, which is a silly thing to complain about.

If you're to ask the gay community if it's silly to complain about the title of the document you'd get a response like "There's nothing like marriage except marriage" or "I'm not going to ask him to get 'civil unioned' with me". Also, it's still discriminating. If it's silly to argue about a title, then why not make it the same for everyone. Go ask some people in the gay community how they feel about this.

If that is the case, why do they state that they have less "rights" then anyone else? They call it a gay rights movement, but it's not a rights movement at all. It's a social movement. However, I do see your point in regards to the marriage not necessarily equaling a civil union, at least in the social aspect. But if a church does not want to marry a homosexual couple due to their beliefs, they should never be forced to by the state. That is what I've been trying to say.

But to the state they should get the same exact contract as straight couples. Because the state is secular and should not have objections to gay marriage. Especially given the separation of religion and state. I hope we can agree on that.

It seems I have gotten a warning about my mirror of this.
I wonder if removing the vid and then re-uploading it immediately would stop the strike against me but still allow the vid to stay *ahem* up?

you dont stand a chance. islam will be neutralised in the west way before it becomes a critical problem to the political, legal and educational systems. its a case of the primitive attempting to overrun the state of the art in ideology, strength and staying power. in the long run, your only option is to rinse your brain and leave your ideology before it gets put down, literally.

You are not the only one. I just got a privacy complaint about my mirror on this aswell.
It would appear that the 'issue' of privacy is at 1:07 aswell.

Seems a lot of the posters here missed your message about laughter. We had a racist bitch in the Aussie parliment for a while called Pauline Hanson. She was basically laughed out of office a few years ago and now the hypocritcal bitch is emmigrating to the UK.
